My Parents Live Here and this place is great. Both the social and atmosphere and ambience is outstanding with an active environment for many activities. Although it is technically not an assisted living facility it provides assistance in many ways such as food prep and around the clock management as well as linen service. By the way, I find the management of this facility pleasantly laid back and willing to accommodate. I hear many complaints about service level and food but do not lose sight of the fact that this is a business not a social service program. My only complaint is that there could be opportunity to improve their food service.

I find the facility clean and comfortable. I have to say the same thing that Janet did in regards to the help and how they are treated. Their job description says one thing and the managers if they are here long have other ideas as to what they want. We have seen many (more than 5) chefs and the only one that has stayed and does an excellent job per all the residents is Janet's husband. We have been through many custodians, bus drivers, activity directors and managers along with asst. managers which many of them were well liked by the community. There is FAR to less parking locations for the residents and those with handicaps are completely out of luck as many places are taken up but the therapist and health aids. I believe we have 6 handicap spots for over 150 whom most are handicap in one form or another. Those 6 spots are in one area which making many people walk a mile to get to there rooms. Serving times are a joke. Everything is done by th clock and if your not there at that time you have lost out. One is very lucky to get 2 cups of coffee at any given meal as the managers serve it and that is there schedule. They can see many people with coffee cups in hand to get there own and they sit at their table look at you and will not take the hint that more coffee needs to be served as they have done their serving.
I could continue and I just might at a later day. Oh the sales people have often told you what they think you want to hear, but in reality it is not part of Magnolia's services .

This is the most atrocious display of a home for the elderly that I have ever seen. The people pay good money for terrible treatment and service. Fred and Lisa seem to be the only good managers in the whole place. Russel and Loretta are by far the worst, managers need to stay out of the kitchen because of how they get in the way, service would go much more smoothly if this were to be resolved.

This is a horrible place to work. I would give it zero stars, if I could. This facility just opened in the fall of 2015, and there has been substantial turn-over in staff and management. My husband works in this facility and he was forced to work 35 days in a row, often without breaks, due to staffing shortage. The residents adore him, but the management is terrible. After working 35 days in a row without a day off, he needed to take his usual days off for a family wedding. He informed the management and they verbally confirmed, but he was then accused of not complying with his schedule and not being a team player. My husband is a very hard worker and has gone above and beyond for this place. They have no idea how lucky they are to have him. If you are considering employment here, look elsewhere!! The management has no respect or appreciation for their staff.
