Came for breakfast and the food was great. Eggs are organic and there are healthier options - only thing is that the portion is tiny for the price paid. Service was mostly good but not attentive enough. The place is has comfortable seating and take out at the front, so you can grab and go.
I was just passing by and this delicious pastry caught my eye. It is the first time I visit this chain, they are not very cheap but want to believe it really worth it. The choice is not that big and I took a croissant with almond which it was quite good.
The salmon sandwich here is life changing. This seems like the perfect place to meet someone after work when you’re looking for a non alcoholic spot to take a meeting besides a bar. The pastries and iced tea are wonderful as well. Have the sandwich!
I had such a great experience in this place. Bakery on one side, and breakfast/lunch on the other. Staff is very approachable and answered all of my questions from in my mind ridiculous to basic. They know their stuff; and what sets them apart is their passion for the establishment. The food was great, from the breakfast in the photos below, their cold lunch sandwiches I had turkey and mustard on a baguette, to their bakery. My favorite items were the Mini Financiers and the Almond Croissant if you like Starbucks' Almond Croissant, then you will fall in love with Maison Kayser's. All in all a great experience and is now my go to spot each and everytime I'm in the city.
Asked for well done eggs they were crispy. Bacon paper thin. Not worth the money. Coffee only OK. Many other places near by you might take a look around this is a last choice place.
If you're staying for many days.. visit it every day! The bakery, excellent.. the pastries, delicious.. the breakfast, a true morning fuel to start your day!!
Wow, the croissants. Buttery goodness. So good! But they have so much more too. Made several trips to Maison Kayser while I was in NY.
It's most definitely a beauty from the street...pastries look divine but there's no way i could sample everything to tell. Service is what you may expect at 50th and Lexington...the coffee is decent.
Very quiet and nice place! John was very welcoming. And the croissant was so goood
Great food and I love especially all of their filled croissants .... the ham and cheese and the spinach and delicious, plus they'll happily warm them up for you. Cakes are also a huge hit with my friends ... the king cake is amazingly good. My only gripe is that they were doing construction recently and it was impossible to sit in the seated area and have a conversation. Overall, a great place though.
