Maize

Went here before a concert at The Prudential Center. They only had a $45 "Pre-Theater Price-Fix" menu. I had the crab cake appetizer which was terrible. Very thin and almost completely bread crumbs. I had better crab cakes at Red Lobster. For my entree I had what they called a New York Strip steak which it was not at all. The cappuccino mousse was actually a layer cake. Service was terrible as not even once did the waiter come to the table to see how things were. No drink/wine menu was offered and I had to ask another server to try to get a glass of wine. I would not recommend this place as there are much better options in the area.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! RUDE MANGER MAN AND RUDE FEMALE BARTENDER!!! DO NOT GO THERE...AND THE BAR GIVES THEMSELVES AN AUTOMATIC 20% TIP. IT WAS 4 OF US, WE WERE IGNORED FOR SEVERAL MIN. WHEN WE ARRIVED. WE NEEDED TO KILL 3 HOURS IN THE AREA AND WENT THERE FOR 1 DRINK OR 2. THE ALLEGED MANAGER (MAN) WAS SO RUDE AFTER WE LET HIM KNOW WE DID NOT NEED TO BE SEATED, WE JUST WANTED TO GET A DRINK AT THE BAR. THE BARTENDER, AN OLDER LADY, SAW US AND WOULD NOT ASSIST. SHE IGNORED US AS LONG AS SHE COULD. I THEN CAUGHT HER ATTENTION ASKING FOR A DRINK AND HER RESPONSE WAS "WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO SIT?" AS 3 SEATS BECAME AVAILABLE, I POINTED TO THOSE SEATS. THIS LADY BARTENDER SEEMED ANNOYED, BOTHERED, IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! AND THEN THE BILL CAME WITH A WOPPING 20% AUTOMATIC TIP SHE GAVE HERSELF. WE CALLED THE MANAGER (SAME RUDE MAN FROM EARLIER) WHO STATED THAT SHE CAN GIVE HERSELF A REASONABLE TIP.

Food was mediocre. Wings tasted like some from the grocery store frozen foods section. Cod cakes were doughy and mushy. No flavor or taste.

Was a great place for Apps and drinks before the show!

Out does chipotle and dos toros. The servings are huge, and food has great flavor.
