Well, it's been since 2005 when I last went to The Majestic Theatre.. tonight was a sold out show with Bay Area thrashers Testament, Exodus and Death Angel. Phenomenal show! Was there last night for The Pineapple Thief show too.. had VIP tickets as well. Great show!
It's a small venue but that makes for intimate concerts! Large monitors places where you can see them at the entrance doors, at the bar in the lobby and inside. If you get stuck in the back, it's still not far from the stage! I liked the set up
Great venue! Small enough to get close but amazing acoustics. Not my first concert here and certainly won't be the last. 10/10 would recommend
One of my favorite venues for concerts! I was here for Insane Clown Posse's Yum Yum Bedlam record release show. Friendly and professional staff, I'm just not big on the prices for drinks. Other than that, I had a great time.
I've seen a variety of shows here over the last few decades and I must say it is one of my fav spots in the city. The sound is excellent, staff does a great job, entry is quick, and it's easy to get to merch and bar. The only downside is the bathrooms, as the lines get long between bands.
It is historic building, very nice and surrounding area always vibrant and has become very bustling. Many things have probably happened here. There was probably a reason for no re entry when going to see a show here and I bet they will not tell you. There is a classic bathroom attendant that will listen to your body remove waste and then provide a mint or a freshing spray of colon that will be strong in odor, you can smell strongly from outside bathroom by stage. Please tip this soul and respect the hustle. Is there smoking? I saw two bars for the drinking folks. There are flashing lights inside so beware for the elliptical folks. Next to the garden bowling alley, for the bowling folks and Sargent poppatonis pizzaria. Pretty much everything. Parking is available for the driving folks. You can do it! you beautiful soul, tomorrow is another day.
Saw Mayhem & Midnight. Have been going here since I was young. It's not harpos, but I still like this theatre alot too. Always felt safe and every so often has a good band or two.
One of me fav. Indoor venues in MI all GA can be challenging for not so tall folks ; nice updates to the place, since my 1st time being there in '93 for Widespread Panic !!
100 Gecs !! What a day. We met Dylan Brady,1/2 of the 100 Gecs . Had an amazing pizza, and rode in style. Thank you Dylan and Laura, your show was incredible!!Eat , bowl , have a drink and take in a show. The famous Majestic theater was an outstanding night to remember ‼
General standing admission theater with gorgeous old architecture. MUNA and Meet Me @ the Altar were great.
