Makedas Homemade Butter Cookies

Love these cookies. We stop here every time we visit Memphis and grab the world famous butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. The interior is clean and tidy and the cookies are amazing. I especially appreciate them being individually wrapped to lock in moisture and keep them fresh. They offer other desserts that I have yet to try but from reading the other reviews, I will give them a try on the next visit.

Omg..... These cookies are so fyi.... I wrote a whole nother review but somehow it left. As you can see from the pictures, I can't stop eating them. They are sooooo soft and moist. Plllleeease try the chocolate chip. TO DIIIIE FOR!!! oh and today was my first time going in and yessssss the inside smell as good as the cookies. I am a cookie addict and gotta get help. lol.... I highly recommend. The banana pudding made me cry. Dont believe me, try them for yourself.

I can’t believe I lived in Memphis for 5 years and just now got a chance to try Makeda’s cookies!! The butter cookies reminded me of a better version of the English butter cookies you get in a tin around Christmas. However, the MUST TRY is hands down the BANANA PUDDING!! This banana pudding will now be my guilty pleasure treat! The staff at Makeda’s are so friendly and very appreciative of their patrons. Don’t be like me and sleep on this Memphis gem! Go visit Makeda’s!

These are some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. My whole family loves them. Our favorites are the ones Young Dolph loved “Butter cookies” and chocolate chip. Thank you all so much and also may Makeda memories live on forever.

This is hands down the best banana pudding I have ever tasted! We live in Texas and find reasons to go to Tennessee for this banana pudding! Do not sleep on this place! Advice always get your own, sharing is not an option with this one! You will not want to share!

The butter cookies are so good!! They taste like food did back in the day.. I’m not sure what that means, but I remember how different food was; even candy bars!
