Makeup for Your Day - Raleigh

So I am an "older bride" at 32, career, graduate student and mom. It's been easily over 10 years since I was "into" makeup. After a surprise proposal from my partner of 9 years I was super anxious about the wedding process. Too many options in a life that's already got a lot going on. Also, so much of the wedding industry didn't fit us. Our day is more family centered, it's not "all about the bride" and a celebration of a marriage. Which after 4 months of planning are things I've well learned to expect from the industry but peeves that shut me completely down. Jennifer H and Jennifer B completely get our event and needs. It was an easy consult for someone who had little specific idea of what it was I was really looking for. I feel so relaxed knowing Jen B and her team will be there for my bridal party and moms, which evens out my anxiety and helps me look forward to the time this experience from Makeup For your day will provide our family and friends in the bridal party the day of the wedding. My look is gorgeous and effortless without looking overdone and plastic. Perfect fit, high level to detail, wonderful gracious professionalism and ease with planning. 2000% recommend!!

These ladies have made my wedding beauty planning completely hassle free, fun, and relaxful. If you want to feel completely at ease on your wedding day please use Makeup For Your Day! These ladies have been in the business for years and they have definitely earned their luxury stripes. The services they provided me were out of this world and so custom for me. Jen B did my beautiful lashes right before my big day and that, in itself, made all the difference! My hair and makeup on my wedding day felt like myself and gave me the extra boost of confidence because it was so natural and so up my alley! If I could give 10 stars for this review I would! So worth the investment! My bridesmaids couldn't stop raving!

Top notch service. When my wife and I got married this team made all of her wishes come true. They are an excellent team, reliable, and do amazing work. I highly recommend them.

I was left in the lurch to find a new stylist after a stylist from Makeup for Your Day cancelled my hair appointment 5 months into our agreement. I don't have to tell you how stressful that was, as a last minute fire drill during wedding planning. Very unprofessional operation. If you wish to use them, I highly urge that you secure a written contract, because they can not be trusted on their word. Good luck.

Both Jens took amazing care of me on my big day and somehow managed to put me back together after taking photos out in the middle of Hurricane Matthew. Thank goodness I already work for them and had them invited to the wedding as well. I don't know what I would have done with my wet hair if it hadn't been for them!
