Malay Satay Hut

I was a little disappointed when I visited the place. I remember coming here several years ago and i remember liking it. In fact, I recommended it to a friend But this time, something might have been wrong with the restroom that smell was spreading to the whole restaurant. To be honest, I don't really know if that's the case or it's something else. But we stayed nevertleless since i still want to eat Malaysian food and it is tolerable. Food is not what i expected. The roti sauce and satay lack flavor (maybe not enough peanut butter and too thick). Curry is acceptable. But the noodle saved the day. I forgot what specific noodle it was but it's like pad thai. I remember i liked the kangkong balacan and tofu with green beans when i ate there several years ago. But i wanted to taste and try something else.

Giant menu, decor has some effort put in, good portions, average pricing, very efficient, food out quickly despite large crowd, conservative seasoning, fresh food. Tried satay tofu and egg and pork porridge 皮蛋瘦肉粥. Simple and solid.

Worst Laksa ever. This was the first time I had laksa anywhere without any Sambal.
