This place is amazing! Great atmosphere and decor. Super awesome coffee and espresso, and great seating inside and outside. Also loved the giant garage door style windows that opened up to let in the breeze! Thanks to a super friendly staff :
I just happened by this place and it seems like a lesser-known baked and wired. Which is great considering baked and wired is always packed! Great, clean and open set up inside. I just ordered a quick egg biscuit, which was decent, but there were plenty of pastries and drinks to choose from. It looked like it would be a great place to hold a private event as well.
Fabulous location, delicious brunch, excellent service. Can't wait to return!
I have been here twice and I have to say this venue is excellent. If you are coming here to host an event this is a great place. The staff is extremely helpful and fast with replying to emails. The price of the venue is a little pricy but it's for the location and excellent facility. I came in today for coffee and had a lovely time. The chairs and tables are unique to this venue and has a European cafe feel. Plus the fresh flowers on the tables are an excellent touch. I ordered a cappuccino and was not terribly impressed. The coffee itself was good but the foam was not up to par. The foam was not very frothy and that my favorite part. I ordered a scone and the scone was nothing special. There is parking out front. You can find free parking as well as cheap pay-to-park parking. The server was friendly. When you only want coffee you buy the drinks at the coffee bar and can sit anywhere. The server doesn't serve you the coffee.
This place is a hidden gem in Georgetown tucked away on the far end of K St. Never go that far down that street and would never had known about unless a friend told me. Love the open space with big windows with lots of sunlight which open up during warm weather. Relaxing place where you can linger and have yummy food and conversation with friends. Lunch is awesome. French onion soup a must. They have a three or four course dinner menu. Lovely unique flavors. Crazy hidden parking spots to the right of restaurant up slight hill. Would be a great date spot for lunch. Don't forgot to indulge yourself in sweet treats at the end.
Great location and delicious baked goods and iced coffee. I've been here before for their live music but haven't stopped by during the day. It's quiet and off the beaten path a bit which is nice if you don't want to fight for a seat up the street in busier Georgetown.
As an event space, this place is great; an open floorplan, with plenty of space dependent upon the number of guests, of course. The food was good, and the macaroons he staff here was courteous and attentive, and kept the event clear of dirty plates/glasses. I'd definitely like to come to this place on a normal day to see how the food/atmosphere holds up with its normal crowd and layout.
Perfect salmon egg Benedict. Good service and location and cool decoration .
Located in a former garage, the decoration of this brunch/lunch place is fantastic! flowers, purple seats, marble table. The staff is very amicable, and the food is delicious try the quiche. Highly recommended!
Very well done - you hosted our group's event with real class. I would not have thought there was a nice venue like yours tucked under the Whitehurst Freeway. I thought all of the food was delicious and the staff very welcoming. I would like to see how things flow when its a normal day of business, I look forward to coming back soon to visit.
