This falafel sandwich on wheat roll was good. It was a lot, I couldn’t finish it all. I didn’t like that it was very messy falling out the roll sauce was all over my hands. The workers were friendly. I got there early before the crowd arrived. This place can get very crowded during lunch time.
I like my falafel fresh and crispy. Which mine was not. I also like fresh pita. Despite not having those two things, this place is still delicious. Filled with jews and pictures of israel on the walls. Authentic and tasty, good location as well. Tasty pickle bar too!
Great sandwiches, generous portion, friendly and quick service! The price is reasonable for the portion and the quality you get. Will definitely return.
I would argue that this is the best falafel place in town, and have been coming here for the past 10 years.
Wow!!! The food was amazing. Pita bread was soft, toppings in perfect proportion, and falafel cooked perfectly. Be sure to bring cash and an appetite!
By far my absolute favorite falafel place in the city and I've tried a bunch. Not a whole lot of seating but for lunch I've found more tend to carry out and maybe even same for dinner but regardless I've never had trouble finding a spot. The whole place is vegan and the falafel sandwich on white or wheat is definitely my favorite. The fries are good just have to wait a bit cause they make them FRESH!! Always seem to have sweets packaged for only a few dollars and they're always great. Highly recommend.
This is definitely my new favorite kosher spot whenever I am in the city in Philadelphia they have amazing falafel sandwiches and a great salad to go along with it as well. Very friendly staff and the line usually isn't too big it's just a bit confusing because they only accept cash so you need to make sure you come with cash but if not don't worry they have an ATM machine right there in the store for your convenience. I am definitely looking forward to going back here again the food was amazing!!
This is the best, most amazing falafel sandwich I've ever had!! Incredibly fast service! Their falafel is so fresh and full of flavor! Their pita is pillowy and it does perfectly with their super smooth and flavorful hummus. They are always willing to accommodate the orders and make the customer happy! However, they are cash only but definitely worth making a stop at the ATM!!
Best falafel outside of Israel. Not even close. Food is very fresh and service is quick. Gets pretty crowded during peak lunchtime but line moves quickly. Credit cards are not accepted so make sure to bring cash.
We normally try not to re-visit restaurants when we go on trips - especially in a city like Philly where there are just so many great restaurants - but we couldn't help it with Mama's... The falafel is too good. We visited around lunch time on a week day - the line was out the door seemed to be mostly people picking food up during a lunch break - but they are so quick to serve their customers that it only took maybe five minutes for us to get to the front to order. Don't get discouraged thinking they are "too busy"!!
