Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - carrot cake and napoleon icing was what we went in to pick up. Both were okay and tasted as expected. The napoleon slice wasn't very flaky so it was slightly disappointing. The recommendation for something less sweet was the kiev cake. It has two layers of meringue with some cream like filling and some nuts. It was actually one of the sweeter slices of cake. Yummy but missed the assignment. The recommendation for a must try was the honey cake and it really is a must try if you haven't had it before. The honey flavor is strong but it doesn't overwhelm the cake. It's heavy but you continue to want to reach for the next bite. Absolutely delicious! Ambience: 5/5 - brightly light and very spacious. Huge counter with all kinds of pastries and desserts. Service: 4/5 - seems like there is a slight communication issue as English didn't seem to be their primary language. We were having a little bit of difficulty trying to get recommendations for something that was less sweet and something that is a must try Value for price: 4/5 - the cakes were delicious but at just over $6 per slice, this is definitely only for special occasions
Ordered from Manan Bakery for the first time and I'm not sure what took us so long because WOW! We ordered a Cheese Danish, rainbow cake, Manan brownie, baklava, and a cannoli. I promise these photos don't do these desserts justice. They're all rich, yummy, delicious and a great portion for your sweet tooth. Their desserts will not disappoint! See you soon Manan and Thank you for greatly satisfying our sweet tooth!
If you’re reading this, just know that I travel all over Las Vegas for some of the best pastries. I rate each bakery in 4 categories. The categories are Venue, Staff, P&F & Customer Experience. Venue What’s it like in there? From the outside, the bakery looks almost like a giant restaurant because of how wide it stretches. Normally, most bakeries are very narrow and small and Manan Bakery is the opposite of it. When I entered, I found out that this place has venues that be can be rented for different events as well as its own restaurant and bakery inside. So if you would like to hold a small birthday party or an event for your family or friends, this is definitely an option because they not only serve pastries but also cakes and floral decorations. Staff Professionalism & Ability to Serve This one was easy for me because the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were courteous, professional, and were very knowledgeable of each pastry. Since the actual pastry chefs in the back are rarely present to represent their work, I heavily rely on the people working the front of the store to explain each pastry if need be. I was able to easily pick four different pastries and the staff were able to explain each one with great detail to the point where I can imagine what it would taste like before even tasting it. Price & Flavor Does the taste match the price? For this bakery, I was able to calculate the average price for each cake and pastry and it is an average of anywhere from $2 to $4 per slice and coffee was around $4, which is cheaper than the coffee in the casino where it averages $6-$8. I also ordered a caramel macchiato to see how strong and flavorful their coffee was which was great coffee. For pastries, I tried the Matcha cream Brulé along with a Raffaelo cake, and two pistachio flavored pastries. The Patries were balanced in sweetness and texture and when combined with that Macchiato coffee, created a whole experience on my taste buds. Do you know that feeling when the pastry ratio and the sip of coffee ratio is just right? That’s exactly what that feels like. Overall, the flavors were nothing short of amazing and the prices very reasonable for the amount of flavors they pack on their pastries. Customer Experience & Atmosphere Overall Rating My personal experience was . It was the Customer Service, the staff and the overall experience. I love being in a bakery where I feel comfortable and a bakery that is not uptight. A bakery where I can eat my pastry, drink my coffee, and be able to talk to the people that work in there. Unlike some of the overpriced cafés in the casinos, this place is a hidden gem. I would like to give a special thanks to Kianna, Jr., Arthur for an amazing first time experience. Also a big kudos to everyone working in the back serving all these delicious treats. It’s always the people that make up the company and these are the right ones to have. If you’re visiting Las Vegas and love different flavored pastries and coffee, this place is a must! You’re welcome!
I am sadly disappointed in the quality of the macarons and cookie I received from this bakery. The order included 2 of each macaron available total of 24 macarons and a heart shaped cookie and cream tower thing. This tower consisting of three heart shaped sugar cookies with a cream of some sort between layers. Most of the macarons were so dry they literally bursted into crumbs upon a bite no moisture or chew to them. In terms of flavor, some seemed artifical and muted. Unfortunately, an unsubtling stale flavor of display cooler was stronger. Especially, when eating the macarons shells without the flavored center bit to assist in flavor. Three flavors were decently fresh and had the nice moist chew to them and filling more consistent of a French macaron not dried out or thick hard jelly as the others. The cookie was void of any sweetness at all as if sugar or sweetner was forgotten. The cream or whatever it is was completely unflavored and not plesent to eat. Side note: This was given to me as a Valentines day gift. So, it was extremely hard to tell my sweetie that I would not like anything else from this place. As I know it would have been his go to place to spoil me.
Since the business expanded the quality went way down!! Yesterday we decided to give it another chance and went. We got pecan cakes. They were dry and tasteless! We got some sweets for home, golden key. My mom got sick after eating hers. We threw away the rest. The pastries are not cheap and very bad quality! We wasted a lot of money for nothing! I am all for supporting small business, especially from Eastern Europe, but we will not be going back!!
Not sure what happened since they expanded. The quality is not the same. I had a custard, you would think it's museum soft texture, but it was almost to be cut with a knife, too much sugar, which it masks the taste, so all you are eating is sugar in plaster like textured custard. The pumpkin pie piece is a thin strip and hardly any pumpkin in it. So sorry not to enjoy their desert as I did in the past.
Delicious bread, Delicious cookies, I thought my case was an isolated one with the “own3r” but no, just check the rest of reviews, this is how you loose costumers. I don't want to get in to details, but NEVER EVER going back. "A little kindness and understanding... specially from a person that is supposed to be the head “directing” “mediating” specially when you are WRONG, unaware of the situation and treating people the way you doa business can get more people in...or loose them one by one" But like you said, you have thousands… Well Even if you have "Thousands", remember that you made them one by one! For the rest of the guys working there, thank you and only for you I hope you don’t keep loosing them.
An absolute treat. Manan offers all kinds of tasty breads, cookies and cakes. Sweet to savory.. Of you ever need a cake for any occasion or just a quick nosh, May I suggest trying Mananthey even have flowers!
So today it was my mother’s birthday so I decided to go to the manan bakery, we got the Nutella cake and we took the cake home to celebrate my moms birthday and all our family and friends were there we cut in the cake and it was so dry that we had to throw it away. So I called the guy I think he was the manger he told me to bring in the cake so my sister and I drove 35 mins to show him the cake and see if we can get another that is not dry and old ,and he came out with an excuse that because it was Nutella but it was bad service all together the owner was yelling on the phone and we couldn’t even understand what she was talking about …. She is just rude and doesn’t know nothing about customers service…
I have been a customer of Manna for years purchasing birthday cakes yearly for my family. Regretfully, during my last visit, the case were old and stale, in sharing my concerns with the owner and manager was utterly dismissed. It is truly disappointing to see how the quality has deteriorated and such short period.
