Tasty food, fresh coffee, and super friendly staff. What more can you ask for, oh wait tater tots and a pleasant view of snow covered mountains where you can watch small planes take off and land. You are literally 50 yards from the runway. Heated patio seating was very comfortably warm even with cool weather. We look forward to trying their lunch menu items on our next visit. Wheelchair accessibility: Small indoor venue, larger covered/heated patio, all wheelchair/walker friendly short distance from front or rear or side parking.

Maniac Mike's is a go to breakfast place for myself. I am a huge fan of cars and planes so getting to watch an active runway during breakfast is phenomenal for me and all the other children at heart or in age present. The food and service here are impeccable, Charlie runs a tight ship. Everyone is friendly and you can feel the care in what you eat and the environment around you. This is possibly the best place to bring young children for breakfast. Watching the children's excitement at watching a plane take off gets me everytime. I may not have any of my own but going here and seeing them clap in excitement or run as fast as their little legs can go makes me want a child of my own to bring here. This is an active airstrip so parents be warned, you do need to keep a close eye on your children. There are no true barriers between you and a runway. That said I have never seen a kid cross the line to actually go out there. I can not emphasize enough how much this breakfast and a show lights up children. And what better way to foster a love for the aerospace industry than breakfast with real planes! Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place. There is nothing more awe inspiring to them than seeing airplanes take off. As this is one of, if not the last privately owned airstrips in America there is no TSA, no gates or walls or barricades to keep you away. You can see the aircraft taking off less than 100 feet away from the patio. Children can see the majesty of flight and as I can attest it fosters a lifelong love of aerospace. Parking: They have a large front lot, and a smaller rear lot for parking.

I LOVE this place for breakfast! It is so much fun to sit on the patio and watch planes take off and land. The breakfast is really good and reasonably priced. The service is great too! I highly recommend this great little cafe at the Cable Airport.

Loved the view!! Plus it’s an awesome place for kids to entertaining and themselves whit the planes while they wait for the food.

A real gem! We have been going for years, and sometimes when feeling nostalgic go for brunch, but when we get there forget about nostalgia and just really enjoy the experience. We have always had great food and service - and enjoy the atmosphere with the occasional landings and takeoffs.

Maniac Mike's Cafe is exactly what you want from a local diner. We sat outside on a cool cloudy day, watching the little planes take off and land. No big crowds or long lines. The service is amazing, lots of smiles and first names exchanged with a sincere and genuine staff. This place is a hidden gem! And the food is great

We found this place when looking for a place for my kid to see the planes, this is a great location right there in the airport! They've a large patio with direct views to the runway. Food was average, they also have few vegetarian options. Great place.

This place brings back lots of memories. Used to come here when I was a kid, and I went back today to see if the food is still as good as it was. I ate the burger with tater tots and my goodness was it a treat. Staff there is really nice, and you get an amazing view of the airplanes while you’re sitting in the outdoor patio. I would definitely recommend coming here if you have kids, or if you just want a place to eat. 10/10 UPDATE: USE THE MENU FROM THE PLACE ITSELF, IGNORE THE ONES ONLINE. They don’t have some of the items they did, so make sure to go to the place and see the menu for yourself. That’s all!

Best biscuits and gravy you'll ever find!! 100%!!!! Great food, great service and super cool vibe with the planes and helicopters going in and out. The server Charli was the best; friendly and funny. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back every Saturday morning to enjoy!Food: 5/5

Potato salad was worse I've ever had..watery dressing, cubed potatoes and some not soft and no flavor...wish I'd ordered hush puppies which I tasted instead from companion...they were really good. My hamburger was good but too much mayo or whatever dressing was on it.Food: 3/5
