Manny's Optical

I have been going to Manny's for my sunglasses for years now. My whole life I have hated how I look with glasses on, even sunglasses, until I went to see Manny for the first time. He set me up with a pair of Persol aviators that I loved, wore for almost a decade, and received tons of compliments on. I finally left them on an airplane. Devastated, I shuffled over to Manny's optical again and purchased 3 pairs of shades that all look amazing. This place only carries the highest quality frames. Even some high end companies put out poorly crafted products, but you will not see those frames at Manny's Optical no matter what brand they are, but that's not even my favorite thing. Manny seems to have an eyepun intended for matching frames to faces. Somehow, every single pair he suggests I immediately love, and I don't think I'm alone. Go check the place out, it might seem like a standard local eyeglasses shop, but you're in for a treat with Manny.

Probably the best place to get quality Glasses in the City. The discount chains will not have the quality frames and glass that Manny’s has. You get what you pay for. I now have better than 20/20 Vision and look incredible with these titanium frames. If you want top quality glasses, Manny’s is worth it

So my glass handle breaks off as was leaving home for work. I get to work and google eyeglass repair shop near me, and they came up. I got there show my glasses and the handle, he repaired it quickly, I said how much? He said don’t worry about it. That’s so kind of Him.

Competitive pricing and excellent service. Manny cheerful worked with me to adjust my glasses until they fit perfectly. Each time he did it with patience and a smile. When he suggested it, it seemed to work. When I wanted it a certain way, it didn't. When I went with my wife to get a minor repair for glasses that she had bought elsewhere, he did it with a smile--and no charge. What a treat in NYC.

I had a terrible experience with Irwin, who sold me an extra progressive lens I didn't need according to the doctor, then when the glasses were not right for me, he pressured me into going back to the doctor to have the prescription checked, and when I couldn't get an appointment in a timely fashion, he simply traded my progressives in for distance lenses without explaining that they would be unusable because of the strong prescription. I lost 700 dollars and got a pair of glasses that was not right for me. Terrible. I will never go back to him!!!

Excellent and fast service. I got my glasses repaired here and was in and out in no time. I will definitely be coming back!
