Story

Maplewood Karate offers affordable Martial Arts classes for all ages, such as our already popular 7+ Karate program where parents and siblings enjoy training together as they did in our Maplewood Civic House program.

Our unique adult Cardio, Conditioning and Kickboxing classes, (An indoor Boot Camp Style Workout) are also available.

Also added are four karate kids classes for Children ages four through six years old. Current schedules are on our web site, maplewoodkarate.net.

Mission

Martial arts for the whole family.

Character development and encouraging community volunteerism is also a large part of the program for developing fine upstanding future community leaders.

Products

We teach a fine mixture of Japanese and Okinawan Karate.

In addition, sport karate for competition is taught. Students do not have to compete in competition if they do not wish to and can enjoy the extra knowledge offered regardless. Sport karate at Maplewood Karate consists of Kata and Kumite (Forms and Sparring).

Full protective gear is warn by all students for their safety during the sparring portion of this training.

The instructors on this site passed extensive criminal background checks to insure the safety of all potential students.
