Visited for a Lax showcase. Nice layout, plenty of parking. Restrooms were clean and climate controlled. They did have a concession stand but it was not open. Three nice turf fields for lax. Very limited stands, so chairs are a must. There is a Walmart 2min away if any snacks or drinks are needed.
I've never taken the time to write a review for anything before this, but the experience at MSI has gotten consistently worse and remarkably more expensive. Charging $10/adult for entrance is exorbitant, especially if your games are spread out over 2-3 days. The food is ridiculously expensive and not at all in line with other venues where we play games. The viewing experience is poor and the overall experience is not commensurate with the prices. Fans of both teams are forced to sit together on the same side and there are no scoreboards. Not once, but twice we were given forfeit wins because a team has no-showed, and no effort was made to give us another game. It's nice to win but the object is to play games and get playing time. I would encourage coaches to go elsewhere. Your families will get gouged for money all weekend-long and the baseball experience is nothing special. There is a "feel" while you're there that the venue is more about making money than creating a good baseball experience. Unless organizations take a stand and stop going there, they will continue to put out this terrible product.
MSI is a joke. 10$ a person. The snack bar is overpriced and they carry next to nothing. If it was done right, they could be making more money without ripping people off. They continue to let teams in that have no showed in the past. Ruins the bracket. You will have a pool play game at 10am on Sunday and a semi final/final at 630 and 830 - I’ve never seen that at any other venue. Good luck trying to keep track of what’s going on in the game - they don’t have scoreboards. New ownership w in the last couple years Poorly run venue. Go the the Big Show or Diamond Nation.
$10 per person to get into the complex. Food prices are astronomical. We had a 6:25pm and 8:30pm game our first day and the snack stands closed at 6pm! Trash cans are overflowing. Bathrooms are disgusting and no toilet paper every day we were there. The field layout is weird and you have a hard time finding a spot to sit to be able to see. Fields looked nice but at the rate you pay, they don't even have scoreboards.
Baseball tournament this weekend, two games Friday night. $10 to get in to watch my son play and no snack bar open? Firstly, what does the &10 get me? Secondly, can’t open the snack bar for 4 games being played on two fields? Nice facility but that’s ridiculous.
Great artificial turf fields but viewing area is tight and the fields are too close together causing a lot of foul balls going onto the other fields. This could be remedied by putting nets between them and over the seating area like Diamond Nation. They have good grub but a bit costly.
$10 per adult to get in and the snack stand isn’t even open for games on Friday night, and we had a double header. What a ripoff! Glad my son is 18u now and I never have to come back here again.
••• COACHES GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR BETTER TOURNEY VENUES *** We pay a lot of money to be in these tourneys then they rip you off by making you pay 10$ an adult to get in. The food is WAY over priced…. Rip off! You pay that much to park and they can’t even supply the bathrooms with paper towels. Horrible. Inferior turf fields. Not worth the fees. I would post negative if available. Absolute rip off!! COACHES. DO YOUR SELF AND YOUR PARENTS A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH TEAMS FOR TOURNAMENTS ….
$10 per adult to enter for what?? To see your own kid play 16u baseball. Much rather go to Diamond Nation, Ripken or Myrtle. Nice turf fields gives it 2 stars.
Went to watch our grandson's team play tonite. They charge an exorbitant amount for entry $10/adult and $8/senior and then make you pay $3.50 for a hot dog ridiculous. I understand that everything is more expensive these days, but seriously.....$3.50 for a HOT DOG? C'mon! The game we went to see was at 6:30pm and alot of food was already sold out. If you are gonna charge that much for entrance and the price of food, the LEAST that they could do is have an adequate of food available!
