Great coffee, and pretty good sandwiches. If you work nearby in the morning definitely go grab something. It's mid Town so it's not gonna be cheap
Normally, I don’t leave negative reviews. We all have off days and I try not to take things personally in general. I shopped here twice. Both times were bad experiences. I was rushed through service, shortchanged over petty amounts $0.20 the first time, and 0.02 cents the second time. Beware their pennies, the cashier literally turned her back on me folding her arms after payment and I had to reach under the sneeze guard for my items. No reply to my audible “thank you”. I could overlook these things, but what hurt enough to take the time to write a review was how well-mannered, polite and pleasant the cashier was to the next set of customers. Flowery words and greetings for those that came before me in line and after. Not cool. It’s a tad overpriced but for the area that is expected. Manners are free. Also, the bagel with lox I ordered had dry lox. I will never return here.
$6.25 for a monster drink? Seriously? Even in Times Square it's $3! The cashier taps ur card and charges, then tells the price.
Top neighborhood deli/market with a wide selection of prepared lunch and dinner hot and cold foods.
I went in for milk and eggs. Marked prices: $2 and $5.99 respectively. At the cash register, I'm told the total is near $18. What? Well, the milk was actually $6 and the eggs were $12.99. When I told the checkout girl that the prices were wrong she acted like I was an idiot. She said "it's fine if you don't want them." Well yeah, I don't want them at literally more than twice the price of the posted price tags! But that obscures the larger point. Your prices are wrong, and based on the reaction to being told that, I have to conclude that it's deliberate. This establishment wastes people's time at best, and it takes advantage of them at worst.
I have been going to Madison Marche for the past 15 years and it only get better - you can get prepared food go for the turkey Burger fruits and vegetables as well as fresh flowers and drinks. Prices are higher then other locations but the quality and experience are superb.
No prices displayed anywhere, arrogant Asian woman/owner? at cashier will charge whatever she wants. Overpriced ripoff. Almost feel sorry for UES residents they have no better alternative. Absolutely not recommended.
Extremely pricey for the rudest service at the cashier. Not displayed prices. Aware of the Korean 'lady'! Nothing is ladylike about her, will rip you off with poker face
Worst place that I have been. Rude cashier, the prices are more expensive and I got spoiled milk in my coffee, they even don’t change me a coffee. Also minimum card payment is 5$, no one can force you to spend more that you need, they have to accept any card payment.
Stoped by before closing. Asked them which baked good are fresh. I was told nothing is fresh! I don’t know if they didn’t want to service us before closing or nothing was truly fresh. In either case this is very sad and embarrassing for this store on Madison Ave!
