the clerk at the bonds and fines window was very helpful. i was so grateful to be able to get information from a live person on new years day. can't imagine having to work at a jail, but i am happy someone does!

I had a fantastic time. After all it's a jail.

I've been to both jails 4th Ave & LBJ for video visits and there's no comparing the two! All of the officers at LBJ are rude, they are no help nor do they make any attempts to help, they treat the visitors criminals, convicts and inmates! I have never encountered so many impolite, unsympathetic, lazy authoritve figures in my 38 years. And then there's 4th Ave. All is the officers are polite, helpful, and they all seem to be in great moods regularly! I only visited for a short time frame and I built a rapport with all of the officers! To he point of giving a Christmas card to an officer! I would much rather pay the parking meter and visit than park for free and be subjected to the negative vibe and condescending tone each officer at LBJ delivers to EACH patron visiting an inmate. Thanks 4th Avenue for your professionalism, your manners and easy going way of dealing with her public day! Special shots out to Officer McCullough for being an awesomely sympathetic funny guy!

Fantastic group of officers working here in the visitation area, always very polite and courteous, some are even pleasing to the eye especially Officer Mcmuffin. The lobby is always very clean and smells fantastic.

Wait times were a bit longer than expected, food was okay, service was fairly good although a little unorganized at times. 4/7
