Fast, Friendly and Efficient Staff I arrived at 8:45 am and was out by 9:20 am. Not bad for a government agency. I went in, no appointment, for birth certificate copies for my two kids. The kiosk was a little slow and the process a little redundant for ordering two birth certificates for two kids coming from the same parents and both born in Arizona. Security guard was friendly, front desk was friendly, and the lady processing my order was friendly. I was impressed and happy with my overall experience. Note: Walk-ins are accepted only for ordering copies of birth certificates. All other services require an appointment. Something to be aware of before you head out to the office.

Today at 11 am I had an appointment. I had spoken with this office 3221 N.16th Street via telephone 3 times prior to my appointment. I asked several questions regarding my situation. I was not told of the fee to correct my husband's death certificate. Nor was I told that my daughter had to be present. I filled out all of My Husband's paper work. Over the phone I was told by Bernardo that this type of correction would be simple since I filled out the Death certificate and just a matter of getting the correct paperwork my ID and copy of my marriage certificate and coming in should be no problem. And no additional fee. Considering the Heat Advisory and the Price of Gas I did my due diligence and asked, yet now I have my daughter a d Granddaughters out in this heat and Have spent close to 35 dollars in Gas. This is horrible, rude and just basically Really Ugly. I am sickened at the thought of dealing with your office. Now or ever. I will make it a point to Let anyone and everyone know of my experience here today.

Came in to get birth certificate of new born. Good parking. Showed ID at reception, then directed to electronic kiosk to fill in application, then called to the window to pay and get certificate. Total of 20 minutes. Very pleased and great service.

I got my birth certificate in less then 25 mins process was pretty fast. Also want to thank D. Soto Aguilar don’t know her name but that’s what’s on my receipt. She was really nice and fast helped me and awnsered all my questions I recommend this place .

Extremely poor customer service with lack of empathy and consideration for elderly and disabled! Aunt came to first appt & even with appt had to wait over an hour & half. Then had to come back for another appt to complete paperwork but missed time due to lack of ride. When she checked in was told since she missed her time she could not be seen, told to reschedule with a timeframe of upto 3 weeks!! With gas at all time high & she being disabled & needing a ride we chose to wait as walk in but they said NO. I spoke to supervisor & it was agreed we'd wait. Then after waiting more than an hour & half we were told it would be even longer because when she checked in 6 were in que but now more than 20! why wasn't she 7 & how is she behind the 20 who came AFTER!! & the whole time they were explaining at counter 10 HER PAPERWORK COULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETED!

Lots of parking, easy to find. Friendly staff. Took about 30 minutes start to finish to get my child's birth certificate

Bernardo is a great help and goes above and beyond. It was so nice to deal with him and he ultimately cares about you getting taken care of. He should be a leader or in charge there. Bernardo deserves a pay raise.

I came here just recently to get my baby birth certificate & I was actually surprised everything is done on computer. I don’t recall how long I was here but it seemed pretty quick maybe an hour. Fast, clean & friendly staff.

Everytime I deal with Maricopa County for business or personal matters, it is a nightmare! However, this vital record office is the best! Every employee had a smile on their face and was ready to help. I was in an out of there in less than 10 minutes. I had to take the time to make the review. Thanks guys!
