Marigny Manor House

We spent 3 nights at this gorgeous house for our 5 year anniversary. We debated long and hard on where to stay and this is the place where we ended up. It was absolutely wonderful. Brian and Alvin are absolutely very accommodating and entertaining. In the first few minutes of meeting them we knew our stay will be great. The bedrooms are large and clean. The rest of the house is gorgeous and historic. The breakfast was delicious and there were always snacks, sodas and wine for grabs in the dining room. There's no question about it, we're going to go back and we will stay at the Marigny Manor House again.

Marigny Manor House was a great place to use as a base for seeing music on Frenchman Street. Our stay there was excellent. The two hosts, Brian and Alvin, knew a lot about places to go and restaurant to try. They were good company at breakfast. There was a "cool tub" that we used to cool off after a hot day of sight seeing. They had hats and umbrellas for guests to use in case you needed them. Overall, an excellent experience.

Wow! What a place! Historic New Orleans house that has all the modern amenities and still retains old New Orleans charm. The owners are amazing great breakfast!. The location is walking distance to the best bars and restaurants in the French Quarter. Oh, there's also a Pool! Cured my hangover.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Marigny Manor and we recommend it highly. It is located in a residential area which is quiet and peaceful after a long day out and about the great city of New Orleans. It is a short walking distance to the French Market, Frenchman street and the French Quarter. The Inn's keepers, Brian and Alvin make you feel right at home. The breakfasts were great! Alvin prepared a delicious Louisiana scrambled eggs and sausage that has a flavorful kick. The French toast is wonderfully delicious too! Snacks and beverages are also available and greatly appreciated upon return from a long days outing. You won't be disappointed if you choose this top notch B&B.

Brian and Alvin were very helpful and kind the second we met them. After a rough first night at a motel long story they were able to quickly get a room ready for us and made the rest of our trip wonderful . The streetcar that we took was very close to their location. I hope one day we get to go back !

The room we stayed in was super nice, and the architecture of the house is amazing. The owners are super nice, and took the time to tell us about what were good places to eat and places to go. You can tell they really care, and enjoy this place. I would highly recommend it here.

John and Gil will make your feel at ease, fill your morning hunger with a beautiful breakfast, then they will send you on your ways Ask questions and you will hear stories, wonderful stories of New Orleans past and present! Marigny Manor House is a true gem!

The Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Their knowledge of the local and touristy places was very helpful and made our visit even more memorable. We have a return trip planned.

We can't say enough about the place and how well you're treated here. Great location, really nice place ran by the best folks you will ever meet. Can't ask for anything more. At this point the details are just boring. No disappointments here, and they are still asking what they can do better when you leave. Wish everyone cared as much. Thanks, see you soon.

Great place! Location is close to everything you want to do in New Orleans. Gil and John are terrific hosts who will sbow you the city and everything it has to offer.
