Dr. Barr is exceptional in every respect. He’s extremely experienced, explains every aspect of the procedure, calm and patient, and shortly after he begins you realize that in my case your dreaded root canal is being performed by a top endodontist in town. He was highly recommended for good reason.
Let me start off by saying I'm feeling like a million bucks after having a root canal done??!!!!! Dr. Maru and staff were sooooo accommodating, and gentle. They were able to fit me right in after a night of pain!!!. Dr. Maru was gentle, and amazing at what she does!!!. 5 . If you have to have a root canal done by a specialist, this is where you need to be!!!
Such a great experience with Dr. Barr. He was able to get me in same day for a consultation and a treatment for a root canal because of the pain I was experiencing. He was thorough and knowledgeable and was patient with all of my questions. His front desk staff was also super helpful and kind. I recommend him to anyone in need of his services!
Dr. Maru and her team are awesome! I had a pleasant experience from start to finish. Anesthesia was quick and easy, I barely felt anything. She checked on me frequently throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing OK. Dr. Maru also followed up with a post op text. I really appreciate the service I received and will definitely recommend anyone who needs endodontic treatment.
Doctor Barr is the best dentist i ever visited. He was so nice and generous, he did way more than I paid for. I was not expecting to leave his office with so much joy. His staff and him are so helpful and caring. I would recommend anybody who needs help to go to his office. He takes the time to explain the whole procedure to his patients and I appreciate that. He probably is one of the best in Atlanta and beyond. I’m so grateful that I was referred to him. I pray God to always bless him and his staff
Dr. Barr performed a root canal on a serious infection I had on my front tooth. The procedure was painless. Dr. Barr made me feel at ease explaining in detail each part of the process - even while the work was being done. Excellent experience all around.

Dr. Barr should change his name to Dr. Gentle! After having had horrible dental experiences I was panicked and anxious to have a much needed root canal. Not only did Dr. Barr take a long time to put my fears to rest but the procedure was absolutely painless! When I say painless I mean I didn't even feel the needles! He took an extraordinary amount of time to discuss with my husband and me my dental needs and answered my million questions with professionalism and patience. He made all the difference to me who has been traumatized by past agonizing dentistry. He and his staff were absolutely wonderful.
I had an excellent experience getting treated at this boutique endodontic practice. Dr. Maru and her team Kari, Ty and Mo were nothing short of splendid. They made sure service was above and beyond anything else you can experience. Dr. Barr took a special interest as well to make some time between his patients to come and say hello. Office is clean and beautiful with lot of attention to details for patient care. Highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking specialized care with advanced technologies.
