The experience here was okay. They had some nice things but also there's no internet in there, no service no wifi also.
I came into the Silver Spring MD location as I do almost weekly. I needed a purse as mine had just fell apart a purse I purchased fromthis exact location over a yr ago. I noticed an employee at the counter near purses, luggage, perfume and continued shopping for a bag/purse. I picked a purse and continued shopping for clothing for about 20 minutes. Before heading to checkout, I remembered that my child needed socks. As I walked over near the socks, passing the purses, the same employee came from behind the counter and stopped me. She asked if she could see my purse and I asked why. She said she needed to check if my purse had an alarm. I explained to her that I had been shopping for 20 minutes and what if I never came back this way. I told her that seems suspicious, especially with me having dark skin. I also let her know that she just threw my whole day off. At checkout I asked for a manager. I explained to him what happened and there needs to be better sensitivity/DEI training among employees. He basically giggled, told me he didn't understand my concern, and that discrimination doesn't happen in Silver Spring, MD. He even mumbled something and giggled as I left. I felt insulted and left without buying anything. They won't get anymore of my or my family's money.
Good items for discounts, got mostly past season designer clothes, but it was good despite the high prices for designer!
I went on on Tuesday 3/08/22 to shop some Queensland's size bed quilt for myself because I'm redecorating for spring and as I'm am walking around look and feeling the texture and quality of the bedspread , the loss prevention officer security just walking around and looking at me like if I'm going to shoplift something, I wasn't scared or anything because I knew what I was looking for , I spent like 30 minutes looking until I found what I was looking for and they were walking around all that time looking at me , when I'm ready to walk to the cashier the two security guards stand at the entrance so I walk up to the cashier to check out my order and after I paid the security officer was gone , ... I think because I'm a person of color the judge is and thing the worst about color people, just be careful when you go shopping in this stop , wearing a mask and being black they think you are going to steal , plz be careful

It's what it is. If you're looking for the best quality do not come to Marshalls, even though you can get decent things for the most part. I bought 3 pairs of headphones, 1 is broken, the other one didn't even plug in half the time and the last one was bad quality and still I lost them. Meh quality of clothing. Never really buy there any more but apart from that everything is fine.
The best part has to be gourmet snacks. The White chocolate birthday cake popcorn is to die for. It's sweet but in a good way. My mom always comes here for eccentric oils to cook with or even different flavorings.
