I randomly bought a Living Social voucher for Mary Ann's Massage as a gift for a co-worker a couple years ago. After he told me how great it was I had to buy one for myself. Ann was my therapist and she was amazing; one of, if not the best, massages I'd ever received! I liked her so much I told my mom about her and she also started seeing Ann regularly, more than me actually. We had been former members of Massage Envy and felt they were more about quantity than quality. That is definitely not the case here at Mary Ann's, you will always get every minute out of your massage with a peaceful and welcoming environment. Their prices are also super affordable compared to other places I've been to. Mary Ann herself is so sweet and personable, it's nice having a chat with her when booking appointments!
Well, I don't remember when last a customer will give a review on their experience and be completely refused care of any kind due to their review. I had a bad experience with Mary Ann herself and even though my experience with the massage service was a good one, I did talk about how I was badly treated by Mary Ann. Today I tried to book some massage services, Mary Ann refused to give my husband an appointment because, according to her, I wrote about my experience with her. Why wouldn't I write if I have bad customer service from you? I never said the massage was bad, I gave a 5-Star on google but explained the bad customer service we got from you just like today. So you refused to give us an appoint because you were given a review on something that you did? I tried to explain to her that we are ok with the massage service, not the customer service, she just abruptly said bye and hang up the phone. Is that a good customer service Mary Ann? You said the staff at your work had a meeting and do not want to give us their time anymore, we are happy to go elsewhere but I want you to know that we had no issue with the therapist. Nora is such a wonderful person and it a shame you have to put yourself in from of the company. This is how you treat your customers and you do not want them to give their review. How can you say no to us after we visited even after after that insident. This is why people get sued...
This is an amazing massage business. I've seen Donna and cannot rave enough about her massage skills. She's incredibly in-tune with the body's energy and a great communicator. I also love how organized and efficient the business is and it's ambiance. I'm so very happy to find a great massage therapist.
I really don't enjoy leaving negative reviews. This was definitely the worst massage I've ever had. I'd be better off paying a few bucks to sit in a massaging chair at the mall. I am very muscular and paid the extra 10 for deep tissue. I don't know what I got. I felt bad for the therapist because she was so awful. I wanted to just get up and leave 5 minutes into the massage. It was really that bad. I still tipped her 20 bucks because I'm classy, but more so because I was happy to leave.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for total relaxation. The place is easy to find, very clean, comfortable and relaxing. I've seen Ericka for a deep tissue and she was amazing! The best deep tissue I've ever had. I'm am seeing Anna for medium pressure massages and I leave there completely relaxed and relieved of my stress every time. I highly recommend this place! :
Myself, sister and niece had a wonderful time at Mary Ann's Massage location yesterday. Staff wonderful, facility beautiful and so relaxing. Just what you want when the chaos of the day get's the better of you. Total enjoyment. Lovely place, will set up future appointments.
Me and my friends planned a trip to Phoenix for our annual Girls Trip and were looking for a spa to get massages while in town. I came across Zen Balance Massage on Groupon and took a chance on seeing if they would be able to fit 5 of us in for massages. Mary Ann was very accommodating and work it out so that we all could be serviced. Well today was the day and Leslie gave me a wonderful relaxing massage! What a way to start this trip off! I will definitely be back whenever I am in Phoenix!
I've been a monthly client going on 3 years now! This place is an absolute self-care GEM! For the first 1.5 years I was with a wonderful therapist named Anne who was sweet, kind, all about listening to what I wanted to accomplish in each session relaxation, muscle tension, various pressures depending on my recent workouts, etc and one of the best massage therapists I've ever been treated by. When Anne moved out of state with her family, the owner, Maryanne, reached out to me and said she wanted to match me with a new therapist with a style much like Anne's and that if I didn't find it to be a good fit, to just let her know and she'd match me with another person. Well, Maryanne was 100% accurate with her assessment of whom would be the best therapist for me when she put me with Omy who is completely amazing! Been going to Omy since Anne left, and I am so grateful to Maryanne for sending me her way. Omy is a thoughtful, compassionate, attentive and very present therapist who applies several techniques and types of massage to tailor-make each session according to my body's needs at the time. She seems almost intuitive - somehow knows exactly how to design the hour so I leave better than I came in and completely relaxed and ready for the next work week. I've asked Omy for advice on posture improvement and she has provided valuable information for me to have and use between massages. You will not be sorry coming to Maryanne's Zen Balance for massage therapy! This business puts the clients first!
My massage therapist, Omy, was amazing! She was so friendly and genuine. She made sure I was comfortable and relaxed! I would suggest Omy to anyone looking for a great massage experience! Her skills and expertise on massage therapy were outstanding. Thank you so much!
Thanks to a massage therapist called Nora. She is the best! She massages very well and she is the reason my husband is still going here. Even-though Mary-Ann almost gave us a reason for not going there ever again by messing up our appointment and never apologizing for it. She tried blaming us instead of doing the right thing, which is say sorry for having us drive from so far and not get our appointment all because she got the schedule wrong. We are still here because of Nora, and the place itself is very nice and quiet. Part 2...In response to your message below. This is all a lie, Mary Ann. You choose to put your feelings before your company. My husband and I never put up any display. In fact, on the day of the misunderstanding, we only spoke to the receptionist and there were no other clients or anyone else in the office at the time. So, you completely got it all wrong. And we never asked her to call you, she decided to call you to clarify with you since you were the one in charge of booking the appointments. Secondly, even after leaving my review about how you treated us and how you refused to take responsibility for your bad management, we still went to our next appointment and we were very pleased with the massage service. We never said we were dissatisfied with the massage; we were not happy with how you try to cast blame on me after you got our appointment wrong and never apologized for it. That was a very bad way to treat a customer who has been a regular visitor at your facility. And you are still trying to do the same thing right here, not taking any responsibility. This is all about you. If I am not happy about how you did, I believe it our right to review so that you can improve to make services better for the customer. We definitely appreciate our massage therapist Nora. I do not understand how you can take a customer review very personal instead of listening. We even went back after all of that misunderstanding, and I remember telling you how helpful Ms. Nora’s massage was. I still cannot figure out how you are able to not take our appointment even after our attendance. We are happy to head elsewhere, but I will not sit and watch you continue to treat people like this. I will ALWAYS say that we were not treated nicely by you-Mary Ann. Not the massage therapist, but you. Please do not misunderstand me. I never try to hind this, I told you and I will not hold back on saying it again and again. About the names, this is exactly how the world works. People have accounts, and if one does not work a site that you are trying to put a review for, you have the right to open another. I recall that your massage company was under a different name that was recently changed. I don't have a problem with that. All I care about is for the person behind the name to take some responsibility, for the customer. Above all, I never argued with you, I know my husband was very happy with the massage he was getting and all I was trying to do on the phone was to try to make you see that we were fine with the massage therapist and was ok to continue, but you got very irritated and you said bye and hang up. I wanted you to know that this misunderstanding was long gone and that even though we never got any apologies from you, we still saw the same therapist after that. You are just mad because I said you didn't do well by us.
