I had my very first wine tasting here with my boyfriend and his family. It was very pleasant and they had some dark chocolate truffles of various flavors to cleanse the palate with, I recommend the dark chocolate lavender truffles personally. The wines were very full bodied and flavorful and I Even bought a bottle to take home. I absolutely recommend going here not only for the wine, but also the beautiful scenery!
I love visiting this tasting room! I love going to the winery in The Columbia River Gorge but this venue is gorgeous and it sits across the river from Portland which makes frequent visits more doable! As a wine club member I get to enjoy the tasting flight as part of my membership! I love to add lunch to the visit. We usually split the charcuterie board and something else! This time we shared the pesto chicken sandwich which was delicious and the charcuterie board! I enjoy sitting outside with a stunning view of the Columbia River on summer day. I also enjoy many of the wines too! This is definitely a lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon.
We attended a special event, dinner and Christmas Ships viewing, and it was wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. The food was great, although the menu was limited, there were more than enough selections. The facility is right on the water, and the patio has overhead heaters, making a very pleasant viewing. The weather was as nice as you could get in December, and the Ships on Parade were well decorated and enjoyable!
Tasty food and wine and very friendly staff. They could have used a few more folks working behind the bar on a busy Sunday but it was still a great experience. Nice view of the water too.
Met up with some friends to explore downtown Vancouver and enjoy some of the wines at Maryhill. The staff were all outgoing, knowledgeable and friendly. We were so impressed with a couple of the wines that we were able to take care of some holiday shopping. Would definitely recommend and hoping that they do a wine tasting option.
This was our first time going here. It is a bit smaller than the original out in the gorge. The live entertainment was great and so was our waitress. Nice selection for the tastings last night. The port was yummy. The food options were limited but delicious. The pricing was a bit steep for what you actually got. I would probably eat something before going there next time. All in all, it was a nice night for the Christmas ships and a nice venue to watch them from.
Seems like it could be amazing. But couldn’t get past one thing. No table service. You have to order at the bar. It just didn’t seem to fit. When we eat at a nice upscale waterfront restaurant we like table service. It’s a treat, a splurge. Ordering at the counter feels like fast food. We were very disappointed. Beautiful interior, great vibe and we love wine. Hopefully it’s a temporary labor shortage. We’ll try it when they add table service. It should easily be 5 stars then.
This is one of my favorite places on the waterfront. You can’t beat the views, I enjoy the wine, but the staff is really what makes this location amazing. Tony is always so hospitable, and is really who sold us on becoming members. We also enjoy the menu, and the nights there is live music. You wont be disappointed!
Enjoyed two glasses of dark red wine, the steak tartare, and the Versailles see photos. Had a very enjoyable evening here and will definitely be back!
It is a lovely day to enjoy a glass of wine and charcuterie board here, which we’ve enjoyed a lot in the past. Today however, I’m not impressed by the cost, 14.00 for a glass of wine , 25.00 for the a smaller board than before, and we were not offered any utensil for the spreadable things.. no napkins for our fingers that are having to do that instead. Will probably enjoy our own picnic out on the grass instead next time.
