Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack

Thank goodness I don't live in the Forestville area. If this Ms Payne and Corporal Zinn are any indication of the competency of the officers here, then the people here are in trouble. I scheduled an appointment for a car seat inspection a week ago. Left ALL of my contact information. I get to my 3 pm appointment and they say, "Oh, Ms Payne won't be here until 4 pm". It was said that this was known the day before, so why could no one contact me to let me know? And your only suggestion is for me to reschedule? It was YOUR mistake and you can't try to accommodate me by calling this lady to let her know that I'm here for my SCHEDULED appointment? All this officer would do is smile and say, she'll be here at 4. These people have no respect for anyone else's time. I have no trust/faith in these people so I'll have to end up rescheduling with a different location.

On the evening of Thursday, April 20, 2016, I arrived at the station and stood at the window, there were three officers who were having a personal conversation, they continued on with their conversations and didn't acknowledge me what so ever. I stood at the window for about three minutes as they talked about their weekend. I don't like confrontation and I'm a very patient person so finally Sergeant Harvey acknowledge my presence. I asked for Sergeant Fleetwood with regards to a property inquiry; Sergeant Harvey indicated that Sergeant Fleetwood was ill and will not return for a few days. I asked if there was a back up and the answer was no. Therefore, basically there was only one person that manage property and if that "one" person failed to return to work no one else could assist. As another fellow Government employee, I am very disappointed with the lack of assistance I received. I live in Prince Georges County, I own a home, I pay thousands in taxes and to be a fellow government official, the lack of acknowledgment and assistant was one that I have never seen in a government facility. I asked for the Captains number and was told CAPT Picket worked out of Rockville. No leadership, No effort, No respect...this location as many deficiencies.
