Story

Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services (MVSS) is a small non-corporate family-owner practice with one surgeon and a stable friendly staff. MVSS provides personalized, high quality, affordable surgical care for the working canine, canine and feline athlete, family pet, couch potato and weekend warrior. Dr. Honor Ame Walesby (owner and surgeon) specializes in procedures for ruptured cruciate (TPLO), patellar luxation (MPL), cancer (mass removal and abdominal masses), laryngeal paralysis, fracture repair, ear surgery (TECA) and neoplasia (cancer surgery), fracture repair, elongated soft palate and surgery of the genital tract (recessed vulva, breast cancer). From your initial consult to your last recheck examination, MVSS strives to exceed your expectations and deliver the best possible care for your beloved friend and companion.
