Went to the Revere RMV to help my elderly parents with a title & plate exchange transfer. You waste about 1/2 day every time you visit. The customer service line by the entrance is long ~30-60 min or so. Then you wait in the eating area for another ~30~60 minutes, if you’re lucky! There are 17 booths but only 5 were manned so the RMV is obviously Understaffed! Parking is ridiculous because the parking lot is ridiculously small. You can take a chance parking across the street in front of the entrance which I did but ran out and parked inside the lot when 1 space opened up. Lost 1 space on line but worth it. Don’t know if you’ll get a ticket for parking across the street by the entrance which is basically the sidewalk as there were 3 vehicles parked there. At least the place is relatively clean. There are only 1 bathroom for both men & women instead of a larger bathroom for each like multiple stalls within.
Made an appointment and checked in and never received a ticket number and I was told to wait on a long line and it made me late to my appointment. They shouldn't require appointments if the process doesn't work. It would have been quicker if I just showed up because I arrived early
Amazingly fast and happy process to transfer my CA driver license to MA. Arjun helped me and he is so patient and professional for visa and work permit issues!
The rmv service people were not bad at all. But let me tell you those guys at the front door that are “security” are absolutely ridiculous. They talk to you like your worth nothing. The short guy at the entrance is so rude. Has his earbud in like? So much for professionalism. Also, they are so rude to people who do not speak English. It’s absolutely gross. I wish they could add more online services as I’d much rather not have to come and let these allied security people talk down to me.
Vanessa and Annette at the Revere RMV were amazing!! I had such a complicated issue that needed to be solved. They were so kind, patient and helpful!!! They weren’t giving up until we sorted everything out. I am so grateful for their assistance!!!
I was here recently for my car’s title and registration. The customer service at this location was abhorrent and disappointing. The woman at booth #12 was condescending, disrespectful and passive aggressive, so I’m not sure why someone with such poor customer service skills is employed here. Other locations offer a much more pleasant experience. Avoid this place if you can.
Annette was amazing! She went above and beyond to help me during my appointment. If you’ve ever been to the Revere RMV prior to their recent changes in protocols and procedures, you would be amazed by how much the experience has improved. The place is immaculate. Long gone are the days of lines wrapping around the building an HOUR before the RMV even opens its doors. The lines are very short. The staff is very friendly. They even have a greeter to help you check in. You can also check in via text or at the kiosk. If you are going to check in via text, make sure you are in the lobby of the building because they are very prompt about calling your number. I highly recommend making an appointment. Your appointment may be scheduled a month ahead but this is a small price to pay for how painless the process of visiting the Revere RMV has become. It also gives you plenty of time to gather your documents so you don’t waste your time or the staff’s time. Regarding the comments about security being rude, they just aren’t supposed to be too friendly… lol. Their job is to be vigilant and keep everyone in the building safe. If you have any questions, the greeter or the staff in the window is happy to help. You just have to be patient and wait your turn lol. Going to this RMV used to give me major anxiety iykyk but now I am able to go in and out within an hour. The staff also seems less overwhelmed. I suspect it is because they no longer have to deal with having an inadequate amount of feral people in their office at once :D good for them!
Anette at this center was AMAZING!!! I moved from CA to MA and she assisted me in getting my license switched over and went above and beyond in helping me register and title my car. I would definitely return to this center any time.
It was pretty easy to make the appointment online and show up for the appointment and get my license updated. I expected to have to wait a long time but was there a total of 40 min. Free parking. Free wi fi. Electric vehicle charging stations
The worst experience ever, both Shena which she said that she is the manager and Chanda they have zero costumer service skills, I asked Chanda to speak to a manager and she totally ignored me , her manager was next to her listing and didn’t even react , when I asked her again and told her , are ignoring me ? I need to speak to a manager , then she replied I wasn’t but now I will , after that her manger said what you want us to do ? She explained anything, which she didn’t even answer any of my questions, I was shocked of the way they treat citizens, hope they read this comment , Shena and Chandra you work for us , we don’t work for you , so please go to school and learn how to treat the customers.
