The massage I got from Jessica was perfect for what I needed. Her mix of Swedish and deep tissue 90 minute massage was just what my body needed. She’s great at recognizing what my body and mind needed. So relaxing, so much relief. I walked out of there feeling loose, rejuvenated, no aches yet relaxed. Thank you Jessica!
They weren’t prepared for the maternity massage and the masseuse did her best but admitted to not being properly trained. I appreciated her and she did her best, but she was not confident. There wasn’t any spa music until half way through my treatment so it was awkwardly quiet. It was my first maternity massage and I don’t get massages often so I was hoping for an overall better experience.
I've been a member for a couple of years and have been very happy. Very clean, can't remember ever having a bad massage some are better than others, app makes scheduling easy if you plan far out, front staff is very friendly. Would be 5 stars except for 2 things that bother me. 1. The constant upselling of aromatherapy, hot stones, foot scrub, facials, etc. 2. They have tipping charts that state the fair market values and it is soooo inflated. It says a 90 minute massage has fmv of $240!!!! If you are paying $240 for a 90 minute massage you are at a spa or resort, you are changing into fluffy robe and slippers, you are waiting in a dark meditation room with your feet soaking in hot water bath, you are being offered tea and nuts and fruit, after your massage you are using the steam shower stocked with amazing products. You are not going straight to a massage room, stripping down, getting 80 minutes of massage and redressing in the same room.
Nice place! However, pricing is based on membership, so you can go for services at an introductory rate, but then would have to become member to come again, or else pay double. Membership can be 6m to a year at a time. Seems like it’d be worth it to become a member if you plan to get a massage or other service at least once per month. But if you are looking for something less frequently, this may not work for you.
When I called for an appointment, the person told me the 60 minute massage would be $80. There was no mention of a membership. When I came for my massage, there was still no mention of the membership till after I was finished. I was told the massage would be $150, unless I was a member. This should have been explained before the massage. The massage by Stevie was good, but this is poor business practice!
Not the worst massage I've had, but not the best either. I had Michelle work on one specific area: my back, but she spent almost the entire hour doing the same motion up and down my back: long vertical strokes on each side of the spine. She paid little to no attention to the delts, upper traps. outer lats or glutes, most of which could obviously contribute to low back pain. She essentially did that same up/down effleurage/friction motion over and over, with little variation in technique, such as kneading, stretching, petrissage, vibration, myofascial release, etc. All that said, it was relaxing and my back did feel better when I left than when I arrived.
Tameka does great work. That is why I keep coming back. She is very reliable to keep appointments as planned and communicates if changes have to be made like illness, snow storm or any other emergency. Tameka really likes her work as a massage therapist and is great at it.
Environment is relaxing as soon as you walk in the door. Did not have to wait. Stephanie is an excellent masseuse! Very easy to communicate with and she is a wonderful person inside and out. She certainly cares about her clients and hopes to improve their day after being seen by her.
Rachel has worked tirelessly to work on all my knots and I have lots of them. Her memory of my issues is impressive and I know she cared about what I’m dealing with. She has strong hands and really puts her best into it! Highly recommend her!
First time seeing LaLa and she was fantastic. I'm fairly active physically and need good deep massaging in places and she did a great job isolating attention and pressure in those areas, while also giving solid all around attention. She described her technique as more of a Hawaiian style and I really enjoyed it. Several hot towels used, on my back as many have but also on my face and on my feet which felt great. I'm looking forward to many more sessions with LaLa!!
