Gerardo did a great job on my kids haircut. I get what people saying about the skill level is different with every barber but in reality these guys have to start somewhere and the price is super fair. I am lucky I got a very skilled barber at a beautiful price!
I graduated with my 1500 hours for barbering education in July of 2021. Today January 12th, 2023 I am proud to say I have finished my apprenticeship and have passed my final Barbara exam. Prior to being at the school, I hadn’t been in a learning setting for over 10 years. It took some adjusting to get into the teacher student flow, remembering to be respectful and know that I was there to learn, instead of complain, and make excuses. Every teacher has a different style of teaching and you can’t expect to get along with everyone, but that’s life. Most important thing was that going to this school gave me the tools I needed to pass my tests. There were times where I didn’t completely grasp what I needed to do and I cried at a few teacher. I’d like to thank them for their patience. And I hope they have also learned something from me as I did from them. The only thing I wish I had more of, was more guidance through the theory part. Because you are basically going through the whole book yourself it does open up opportunities for you to study in whatever for and style you’d like. It was just stressful since I hadn’t been in a classroom for so long. Overall I had a good time at this school, I learned, I made life long friends, and experience things I wouldn’t have anywhere else. Thanks again to everyone that made this happen.
Hands down best school in town. The instructors will go above and beyond to prepare you for not only the state board exam but to be out in the work force. Extremely thankful for them
Great school, would recommended to anyone looking to get their barber license. all instructors were helpful and were more than than willing to help prepare for state board exam.
Great place to come to get hand's on fresh cut from our future Craftsmen. Special thanks To Mr.Allen for making dreams come true in this industry.. must see establishment..
I’ve been going here for years. Not once have I had a bad haircut or shave. Highly recommended and very professional. Students are getting graded on their work. All of mine have been A+
Former student here. You MUST apply yourself and be motivated. They won’t hold your hand through school. This is an adult trade school, after all. Passed my state board exam no problem.
The gentleman that cut my son's difficult hair listened to what I wanted and executed the haircut to perfection! Definitely will be returning.
I attended this school a few months back and graduated..Staff is very friendly, they go above and beyond to get you prepared in order to get you to the next level. If you do what you need to do you should have no Issues..the people leaving bad reviews and talking down on the school are the same people that didn’t take their barbering career serious, you gotta remember that at the end of the day it’s on you to wanna learn. So the goal is simple, study, do what they say and finish all the services required. 1500 hours9 months go really fast. And then it’s off the shop to make serious money. I have no complains, Masterpiece let me invest in myself and gave me an opportunity to change my life forever. Thankful for all the staff and all of their experiences and knowledge they dropped on me.
The place is actually a Barber College. I was the young man's 1st haircut on a female. Great Job
