Maurice Barber Shop

Wanted to try a new barber shop that was closer to me since I live in fondren I had been going to mannies in north park since they opened which they do an excellent job. Called to find the price of a bald fade a woman answered (didn't think nothing of it since the name is Maurice's) who said it would be twenty dollars. Stepped into the barber shop only to see three woman working there an Asian woman jumped to the chance to cut my hair. I told her I wanted a #2 bald fade I asked if she was good at fades she replied "yes really good" she couldn't have been more wrong. She was real sparatic with her cutting, no line work, no blending, and when she was done it was just a regular fade (half ass fade) very uneven, and she didn't even line the front I had to get her to go back and do the front. The most uneven haircut I ever had she spent probably less than ten minutes with the whole cut. I was so ready to get out of there. Word of advice to whoever owns this establishment if you have barber shop in your name have men barbers if you have salon have woman hairdresser especially with a name like Maurice's barber shop.

I've been to the Maurice's in Madison a few times and gotten great haircuts every time. Last week I was driving around and noticed this one, which is closer to my house than the one in Madison. So I tried it out. I walked out with the second-worst haircut of my life, and for the second time in my life had to get someone to fix it. And I don't have complicated hair... Traditional men's haircut, I've been getting the same thing since high school. She just didn't listen to what I told her. She took off too much on the top and literally it looked like she didn't even touch the sides or back. When I got home I got a good look at it and new something was wrong. My girlfriend said it looked like a mullet. So yea, I won't be going back.

I recommend Mii-san (the Korean lady, obviously), I think was her name. I've had a couple of the others do it and they don't do as good of a job. I told her just wanted it a bit shorter and off the ears. The electric trimmer turned on and she never turned it off except to texture my bangs. It looks pretty good for how long it took. Fastest haircut I've ever gotten. Probably took less than 10 mins. I was kind of skeptical since it was so fast but my girlfriend liked it so I'm happy.

Went in today got haircut and beard shaved off and I love it I look a good ten yrs younger tha nks Christy Cuberson

I got the exact haircut I wanted, it was a quick, and I don't mind paying a few extra dollars for the experience level. If you don't like the price go to Walmart, it's your hair. I will go back!
