Had the most delightful happy hour at Max’s Gill and Grill, the cocktails, oysters, and ceviche were so yummy. Prices are reasonable, super friendly staff, and can’t beat the neighborhood vibe of South Gaylord Street. New favorite happy spot!Food: 5/5
Highly recommend this place! Great vibe, love the patio, friendly service and very decent vibes. Most cocktails are $8, not sure where you can find that in Denver, best Aperol spritz.Food: 5/5
Offline brought us here. We LOVED the drinks, the truffle fries, the the crab dip, and the lobster rolls. Our waitress, Beth, was also wonderful. Can’t wait to come back here! Parking: On non-peak hours, parking is easy. It’s probably more difficult around dinnertime
It was our first time coming to Max and it is the most fun vibe!! I feel like this is the type of place I would boat up to - good food, fun vibes, good drinks. Service was a little slow, but they were slammed- we were also glad we made a reservation for a Friday night. Also - they had great happy hour deals and I loved the decor the decor!!
Tasty food and a very fun atmosphere! We really enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese, and the lobster roll. Great happy hour deals as well!Food: 5/5
I’ve always loved Max but tonight they extra impressed. I was having a solo birthday night and Abby was so great. The max smash with whiskey was delish! I also got a slice of key lime pie for free despite just being solo and only getting the crab cakes and drink-it was very appreciated.Food: 5/5
Husband and kids took me here for my birthday as a surprise. They know that Oysters and Florida are two of my favorite things and this place fit the bill. Atmosphere is very much Florida. Great choice of raw oysters. Short list of non-alcoholic/mocktail options but they did make me a dang good NA mojito! The Max Cioppino is MUST if you go. Loads of seafood in a delicious broth. I did not add pasta to mine and it was still very filling. The parm truffle fries were pretty good, too!
What a great find! The happy hour is awesome. The oysters were delicious. I highly recommend the lobster roll, love that it’s on a Hawaiian bun. Drinks were next level. The painkiller comes in a fun glass. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food!Food: 5/5
Located on a fun street, surrounded by other great spots, this place is a must visit! They were playing beach house music for that relaxed vibe. The back even has a tiki hut with swing chairs which was so unexpected as you enter a chic front area with bar. There is outdoor seating and the widows open up to make it all open air. The food was out of this world. My table LOVED all of the seafood options. As a non-seafood guy, I still had a ton to choose from. Although to be honest, the crab dip was amazing! The hot wings were massive and The Honey Crisp Apple salad was spectacular. For drinks - espresso martini was awesome but the Pain Killer stole the show! 5/5 stairs!
Well worth finding. We had burgers, ribs, and seafood. All were amazing. The atmosphere was very "Jimmy Buffet" with a little sports bar feel. And the price was reasonable. But as always, it comes down to the food. All dishes were good portions, well seasoned, cooked appropriately, and came as advertised. It's a challenging neighborhood to park in, and they offer valet parking if you can't find a spot quickly. Wheelchair accessibility: It was wheelchair accessible...
