I have been coming here for many years for my back. Now I'm getting laser treatment for my knees twice a week. I feel so much better. The achiness and pain is very minimal. I have one more treatment. The staff and doctors are amazing.

See Dr. Rief now! I have scoliosis and herniated disks in my neck and back. I’ve only seen him a few times and feel amazing. He’s restored my mobility. You can’t get better than him and I’ve seen a few Chiropractors in my lifetime. And, the office staff is wonderful and efficient. Great experience all around!

I have had a fantastic experience with Dr Rief and all the staff at Max Health! I first went to Max Health 4 years ago after experiencing terrible neck and back pain. Initially I selected Max Health because I only go to female doctors and I was planning to see the female chiropractor in the office. When I arrived, I was told I would be seen by Dr. Rief, a male chiropractor. I was understandably surprised but agreed to speak with him. He let me know that his female colleague had an accident earlier that week and broke her arm so she would not be able to treat me. I explained my hesitations to him about working with a male chiropractor and he reassured me of his professionalism and dedication to providing good care. He made me feel safe and comfortable and so I decided to go forward. I saw Dr. Rief 1-2 times per week for several months and he helped me immensely. Fast forward to This year- I had a terrible fall in July, tore my hamstring and hurt my neck and back. I had the worst headache of my life and after visiting several medical doctors I turned to Dr. Rief and the staff at Max Health Center. Unfortunately they don’t take my insurance but I pay out of pocket because it’s totally worth it! What a game changer! When I first started seeing Dr. Rief in September I could not sit up or stand without experiencing immediate, excruciating, debilitating head and neck pain. I had laid in my bed for a month straight at that point it was so bad. He listened carefully to my situation and then he and the massage therapist worked on me for 90 minutes! Game changer! I have been going twice a week for more than a month and the difference is night and day. I am getting my life back!! Dr. Rief and all of the staff at this office care deeply for their patients and their wellness. I have never had to wait for an appointment. I have never once had to wait in the waiting room. I show up on time- they see me on time. The massage therapists are fantastic- in their care and their spirit. The staff are professional and all are a pleasure to deal with. They don’t even complain when I ask for a note for my job after every appointment! Dr. Rief has changed my life twice and I am so grateful. I cannot recommend this practice enough! Go there!

The staff at MaxHealth center are so kind and wonderful. It's super easy to make an appointment and they're always running on schedule and on time. The hours too are extremely accommodating with evenings hours always available. Dr Rief listens and shows great empathy for his patients. The whole office from the masseuses, to the physical therapist, and other practicing physicians makes this place one in a million for treatment. Prior to this I had gone to others feeling unheard and still in pain. These guys brought me back to life and able to enjoy my life despite my diagnosis.

GO SEE THIS TEAM. I will shout it from the roof-tops that this place and these people are THE BEST. The care they provide is unequivocal- they want to help you feel the best and they aren’t going to torque you around for weeks and weeks with nothing to show for it. The medical massages hurt SO GOOD. The time and energetic Dr. Rief has put into me personally is astounding, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I work a very physical job and now I can walk and stand and sit without pain. I cannot express how incredible they are. Give them a chance! They will change your life!!

I was injured very badly with back and neck pain after being rear ended by another vehicle. As a result of the accident, I could not move , walk , sit, or even stand up for roughly about 60 days following the accident . Even the slightest movement I attempted would cause severe pain. I started to meet with my general physician and a local chiropractor and even did an MRI. Not knowing what was wrong with my body and why I was in such unbearable pain. I was very down during those 60 days, and everyday felt like a challenge to survive. Then after receiving pain medication , and receiving treatment from a local chiropractor in NJ a few minutes away from where I live, and after the MRI results. I was recommended to continue with the treatment and medication. But the pain was persistently painful and did not go away. Then after I was able to start walking and sitting down after 60 days . I visited MaxHealth Center which was in NYC and about an hour away from NJ and explained my story, described my pain and my every day struggle to do normal activities. Soon after I switched the NJ chiropractor to the NYC chiropractic at Maxhealth Center. It was a longer drive , somedays I would take the train into the city . The commute would be 40 to 60 minutes vs the 5 to 15 minutes of local chiropractor in NJ. But the results were astoundingly different. The pain I have in my back and neck and still some in the legs and shoulders started to decrease day by day. I started to realize I finally once again have some mobility . By far one of the worst pain I have experienced in my life , was not the biggest struggle of my day to day life anymore. Maxhealth offers awesome treatment that included physical therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic therapy, and a reliable referral system incase of seeking other health care professionals for additional treatment. I came to the clinic in a lot of pain. Ruth didn’t seem to care about my confusion around the conflicting information provided by her and the health insurance. I got a quotation for services I couldn’t possibly afford. She didn’t seem to care at all about me and wanted to make sure I agreed to pay the quotation. She was obnoxious and cut me off repeatedly. Wouldn’t recommend as I didn’t receive compassionate care or to just be treated like a human.

TOP rating for Dr. Rief and his team of skilled and caring professionals. Over the years I have had the need to seek chiropractic care and NEVER have I found such relief and continued well being as I have at Max Health. Dr. Rief knows his stuff and always knows exactly how to adjust my body so I leave the office feeling good and staying that way. Gloria and Jalima bring magic relief with their massages and Selene and Blanca at the front desk are cheery and helpful. I feel like family and I think every patient does. The only negative thing I can say is there is NO room for improvement!
