The food was AMAZING! The new location is beautiful and extremely clean. The grilled chicken salad topped with french fries was one of the best salads I have had in years. I looked up local reviews on the best sub shop in/around Altoona and McAbee's was several people's nomination. It was closed 2 or 3 times I tried to go there but I made it there while it was open the other day and it definitely lived up to the hype and was well worth the wait. So many choices. Will definitely be back again and again. Went with the super fish this time around and I couldn't even eat half of it. So big. So good. Zucchini planks were also good and cooked in fresh oil.

Really good food. Order ahead tho, they get busy for lunch and food can take sometime. Depending on what you order a 30 minute lunch is to short. It's worth the wait if you have the time. Dietary restrictions: Keto options

In PA for another two weeks and then off on my way Omg so good the fing sandwiches are so good sorry no banana for comparison ‍About two banana long and 3/4 of a banana wide .. so worth the price

Our favorite sub place! All that we've tried has been delicious and they never skimp on meats or veggies in the subs! I love the crispy chicken salad but can only eat a small. The sweet peppers make it next level! We got 2 large and 1 small subs to go once and fed 5 people 3 adults and 2 teen girls dinner and 2 more had lunch again the next day from it. It is usually chilly in the restaurant, so if you eat-in grab a sweater, but the food is worth it!

Best subs and sandwiches around, hands down. Super fresh ingredients and you get a proper amount of food. Amazing place.

Im always Looking for an excellent Italian hoagie comparable to the Philadelphia delis. This is not the place. Better than subway but not by much. 6 out of 10. Perhaps their other hoagies are better, but I use the Italian as a baseline.

Great taste, get your money's worth, very friendly employees,and they make you feel at home. Love the surroundings and the food was awesome!!!

More meat and cheeseper sub than I've seen anywhere else around here! The staff are so friendly too!!
