Second time here and have not been disappointed. The food was so good. It was my husband's first time and he was hooked. Definitely a must try. Only down side we wanted to try the chocolate chip cookie and they were sold out.
Slow service just to get to the register. Every other question I asked was answered "I don't know " Out of three soups. Tables have crumbs. The cashiers carry on a conversation with every guest. Nacho cheese not even melted, lets forget hot or warm. It took 21 minutes yo get a order of nochos. My strawberry lemonade not mixed. Was placed upside-down on a dirty fountain drink grid and the lid opened and put back and was served with same lid. I love dining at McAllister's but not this time.
Please for the love of all things that are holy save your money and don’t order anything off the breakfast menu. It’s just a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. You can buy almost five for the price you pay for one here. You’d be better off spending your money at McDonald’s. At least they “cook” their food.
A little nervous after these reviews but they have stepped up their service, as it was fantastic. Food is okay, great value. I made a very special order and they didn't mind and got it right! Ate there twice while at a conference.
I don't understand how you have customers wait 45 minutes for half a sandwich and a baked potato that was cooked in the microwave. This place is located in the convention center. Thousands of people come here for conventions and your understaffed on a weekend.
Pretty good club sandwich. The macaroni and cheese was okay. A little bland. Nice place though.
We were there on a busy weekend with two large events going on at the convention center, plus a large group had arrived just before us, so I understand things were busy. That being said, you are a restaurant in a convention center, I feel like dealing with the huge lunch rushes and large groups is your norm and you should be equipped to deal with it better than they did. To start out, the girl that took our order had the personality of a peanut. She was not friendly AT ALL. Got our drinks and sat down to wait for our food, assuming it would probably be a little slow because of the large group that had come in ahead of us. A little slow would have been nice. About 30 minutes into our wait for food, the employees started telling people waiting in line to order that it would be about a 30 minute wait on food. Based on that estimate, we assumed our food should be out shortly. We were wrong. Someone that was behind us in line got his food so we thought surely ours will be coming out soon. Finally after an hour had passed, my husband went up to the counter with our receipt to find out where the heck our food was. He was completely ignored and ended up coming back to our table when one of the employees stopped by to tell us it would be just a little while longer on our food. I tried asking what a little while was since it had already been an hour, but she ignored me to focus on my husband who was asking her what was going on that it was taking so long for 2 sandwiches and that no, we didn't want a refund so we could go somewhere else, we just wanted our food. She acted offended like he was being rude admittedly, and understandably, we were frustrated and not using the sweetest voices, but we weren't rude and went to get the manager for us. He came over and was VERY nice! and we explained the situation and he asked what number we had. Apparently little miss peanut personality had given us a different number than the one on our receipt so who knows where our food ended up. Shortly after, they brought out our food, my husband's was wrong so they had to remake it, and the manager refunded our money, which we appreciated, but it doesn't change the fact that the overall experience was terrible.
Catering from this place specifically is terrible. This branch was incredibly disorganized. Our order wasn't ready after 1 hour and our team had to finish putting together our meals. Many people to wait up to 3 hours for their food. We had ordered this catering a few days in advance, as well. Also, the food was half assed job either someone was missing something from their order or how the sandwich was put together was just terrible. Not to mention this branch is located at a convention centre with events potentially being as large if not larger than FIRST Robotics Competition that was held during the time. Meaning they should expect and prepare for the heavy orders and numerous groups.
Waited about 30 minutes for a sandwich which never came wasted my whole 30 min break . Even tho they had a big order I ordered my sandwich after the first guy so basically they put my order on hold just so everyone in that big group could get their food first . I had my food order to eat at the deli and they was to go. They need to learn how to manage a store everyone seemed so Unprofessional. I worked at many restaurants and always had the 1 person served first out of a big group .
For a restaurant at a convention, it is very poorly run. Waited an hour in line and was told it'll be a 45 minute wait for the food to be ready. Some people around me have waited over an hour for food, but people after me in line only waited 15-30 minutes. No organization! The food is good if the line isn't bad, but if you are in a hurry go somewhere else, it'll probably be faster.
