McClellan Outpatient Clinic - VA Northern California Health Care System

My husband is a disabled/retired Veteran. We have great response for his Mental Health appointments. However, his Primary care is a joke. I have personally attended and Dr. Tito doesn't even care what is in his chart. He will not pursue the issues my husband continually experiences. He needs radiology referrals and someone to actually examine him.. We have put in request to change physicians' I have called and been told the Clinic Supervisor will return my call....NOTHING is being done. My husband is in constant pain and needs medical attention. He had surgery for a torn bicep at Mather with EXCELLENT care and follow up Physical Therapy at McClellan, again EXCELLENT. His primary care needs to be addressed and he should NOT need to see a Dr. that ignores all of his issues that need to be addressed.

The VA doctor here Dr. T, at Mclellan clinic is afraid to prescribe medicine , indicated medicine is ignored and these VA doctors are basic care at best. Afraid to prescribe medicine, unbelievable. Why I have to go without effective meds , come on, Hate to say the Dr. Needs a lecture. Help me

Well ill be the odd man out, i love my doctor, and the lvns and nurses in the back are very nice even remember you when you haven't been in months.the va has a long way to go with their systems and stuff but the workers are great and they provide the customet service and thats all that really matters right?

I had an appointment with Greg an RN assistant for Dr. TiTo Tanguilig at 10 AM this morning. I received superior medical care from Mather Hospital on Friday 10-20-2017 to have a infected gall bladder removed and respiratory problems. Today was a follow up appointment at my primary care Dr's office. The assistant had misread my chart and thought I was in the hospital for Congestive Heart Failure. He had no idea what I had been treated for and had a very hard time reading and understanding my chart. He finally looked at my incisions to see if they were infected. He didn't weigh me, take my temp or blood pressure. The entire visit was a waste of time. I received excellent medical care from the VA while in the hospital unfortunately it is employees like this that give the VA medical system a bad rep!

My mental health Dr. canceled my appointment the day befor and it just happen to be the day after my exwife left. I called them basically begging to keep my appointment. Lady on the phone said:" we don't have time for you! If it's an emergency call the suaside hotline." Haven't seen a mental health dr since. Just Kinda took my meds till I ran out and stopped taking them. I won't ever go to another mental health dr here. Waste of time.
