McCormick Paints

The salesman was very helpful in helping me locate necessary equipment to paint my apartment. The manager carefully changed the colors of two cans of paint that I had bought weeks earlier instead of charging me for new cans based on my change of mind. It took him some time, but I was not charged. The products were as satisfactory as the excellent service.

Be warned. Watch your invoicing. I am in Norfolk, VA. I have reached out twice, even written corporate. The incompetence of this store sold paint to someone and billed our company account. The person signing is not and never had been an employee of our company. I reached out on November 2 after receiving a bill. The person in credit wrote this store and asked them to check into it and get back with him or me to conclude. One month later, I received yet another bill from the store with no comment, and no effort to reach out to me prior. If they are this shady with trying to steal from a small business by sending out false bills, be warned about what they may try on a larger scale. Go to Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore and let them know what you are paying at McCormick, and they will match it, and you will have the comfort of knowing you are dealing with an ethical store.

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. My husband asked for assistance with paint nothing above and beyond and the associate refused. When he mentioned the employee’s lack of customer service, he was told I’m not here to serve you. If your project requires any assistance, find another McCormick Paint Store with associates who understand customer service.

I personally, will never ever in my life as a contractor will ever do business with this facility. My first time here and there is a few Hispanic males in the entrance just standing with the employee of the store I walk in an the people start making fun of how I am dressed! Which I think it completely stupidity! The employee of the store actually starts making fun of my shoes! Red vans ! Asking if they are Cinderella shoes and all this stuff obviously I don't know this guy an I have a real short temper so I rather not even speak a word I look at the brushed and feel my blood start boiling so I rather step out and take my business else where. If this is the type of employee McCormick employes I really feel sorry for the company. Smh

Great family atmosphere at store. The staff is very helpful, professional and knowledgeable about their products. I've been a customer for 20 plus years and am very satisfied with the quality of their paints and service.

Impressed with this store location! It is in my immediate neighborhood and I went there for the first time today, and both workers were very friendly and helpful. I work as a painter/muralist and anticipate going there for as many supplies as I can, and love to support local, too.

Very friendly an knowledgeable about what I needed. Also, can recycle paint here!

I have tried to get paint at this store for a week and their “system is down” every single day and they are unable to help and serve customers but their doors are “open” ??? Corporate must be losing a lot of money over this, and I will have to find a different place for paint now as deadlines are approaching.
