McKale Memorial Center

The McKale Memorial Center is based at the University of Arizona. In general, the place was very spacious as one would expect from a place where a basketball game is held. I went for the admitted student day and even with all the incoming freshman, there was still plenty of room to spare!

One of the best places in the USA to catch a college basketball game. Always a packed and energetic environment. A fantastic and ever improving facility.

Awesome venue to watch a basketball game. UA is a must stop if you are a huge fan of NCAA basketball. It is right on campus and easy access.

I visited McKale for the business college's graduation, so I have imbued my review with a blend of personal sentiment and anecdote. The building itself is wholly unremarkable, lacking posh features or a haunted backstory, i.e. it is a standard b-ball arena with stadium seating and a jumbotron. As far as college basketball goes, the Wildcats are stalwarts, with a home crowd that turns the sleepy town of Tucson into a whirling dervish of fandom. So if you ever happen to find yourself in God's blindspot, do yourself a favor and experience the frenzied atmosphere of college kids hopped up on beer and Eegees.

Easy access, recommend taking an Uber to get there so you don't have to park.
