The Halloween costume party bar crawl was amazing.  We had a fantastic time with Brian and Devon our pantomime bartenders. They have worked together for years and it shows. Cared for every customer and made sure they backed each other up all night.  We were lucky enough to sit at the bar with them and watched them work hard to make all the yummy drinks.  I highly recommend the pop rock Jell-O shots. They are fantastic.  blue was our favorites. The spiced rum and cokes were great too.  Included are some phots and video from our visit. And although this was our first visit, I can tell will be back for many more. McMenamins is always a good choice.

Always love to check out a McMenamins and they never disappoint. I love that they're all different but still have that McMenamins feel. Tried a couple delicious ciders and played some shuffle board. Absolutely love all the plants.Food: 5/5

Absolutely enjoyed my experience at the Blue Moon Tavern. Wait staff is exceptional, food is delicious! My favorite brew I tried was the Ruby, 10/10 would suggest to everyone looking for fantastic food, great atmosphere and a selection of drinks that are to the moon!  Vegetarian options: Lots of great options for vegetarians and vegans

This place was soooo fun! The atmosphere was was chill. The decor was fascinating and entertaining in itself. The food was delicious. The Pretzel sticks and cheese win for best appy.  The Green tea shots were delicious and jello shots were yummy.Food: 5/5

Old school, cozy vibe with quite a few people moving in and out throughout the night. Sit by the fire with a friend and enjoy the guest taps along with a pop rock Jell-O shot. Don’t forget to tip your bartender as they all do an amazing job keeping pace with the crowds.

My wife and I hosted a Welcome Party here for the weekend of our weekend and we had an amazing time! The staff at McMenamins we're great at accommodating a large group. They promptly got out our delicious! large order of appetizers and smoothly served all of our friends at the bar. The pop-rock jello shot was a huge hit and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxed. We would highly recommend working with them for any large gathering - or just stopping in for a drink! T

I admit I'm not a fan of tavern food, and McMenamins food poses no exception, so I won't say more about that. But I always enjoy the service and the unique yet familiar atmosphere of each place, and all drinks and the variety of choices are excellent. At Blue Moon my friend and I needed a place to wait midday out of the cold for a bit and we were lucking out finding a cafe in the area that wasn't crowded, so we chanced here. I very happily sipped a hot chocolate while my friend had a diet soda and we had something to snack on, and I felt we were welcomed to do so. My new favorite midday cafe and still a favorite night bar!

Everything was great. Our server Bryan B was exceptional. We had two at times hard to please young girls with us 4 and 2 years old. I would highly recommend this place. We were there in the late afternoon and they let the girls attempt to "play" shuffleboard which they thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for the great service BryanFood: 5/5

The place is okay. The food was good. The waitress was really cute. Good service The place was fun to be at. Parking downtown is miserable doing anything downtown is miserable. Got to pay to park walk 5 mi to get where you're going after you drive 5 mi to get there. I go there if I happen to be hanging out downtown one evening but I wouldn't drive there myself specifically. I was taking my kid out first 21st birthday and this is where he wanted to go.

Good service and good burgers to take out.... the burgers are not always consistent, though. Sometimes they are sometimes well done when I ask for medium rare or RARE. When they're  cooked right, tho', they really are delicious. Cajun fries and cajun tater tots are first rate
