The camp’s core values include a focus on the whole child. At Meadowbrook developing self-confidence and leadership skills, fostering integrity, teamwork, empathy towards others, and encouraging creativity are values that the staff is committed to reinforcing.
Our mission is to provide a high quality program where campers have the opportunity to grow emotionally and physically. Where they can try new activities and improve their skill level in familiar ones. Where they can form friendships with other campers and bond with their counselors. Where they can develop independence and self-confidence. And where they can have fun in a safe, nurturing environment.
Campers are organized in single gender groups and travel with their group and their counselors to each of their scheduled activities. Each group receives a weekly schedule that includes all the activities available to that age group. Campers are placed in groups based on their current school grade.
The Meadowbrook Day Camp and the Teen Tripping Program comply with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations (105 CMR 430) and are licensed yearly by the Weston Board of Health.
The Meadowbrook Day Camp is part of the Summer Programs at Meadowbrook and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, religion or disability in administration of its camp policies, scholarship programs or other camp-administered programs.
