Story

meadowlark is a small, cozy, creative preschool that I run out of my home. I emphasize the arts in my curriculum because I strongly believe that children explore their environment and express themselves best through the arts: a language that is both natural and accessible to them.
The school is on the first floor of my home. It is warm and inviting and filled with light. It is also located one block from a shady, neighborhood park.
There is an enrollment of 6 children per day, allowing for one-on-one attention as well as allowing for socialization skills to develop.
Our days are filled with painting, dancing, storytelling, free play, outside play, music, and more...

Mission

each child has his or her own way of learning and of interacting with people and events that surround them. as a teacher, my goal is to nurture each child's unique growth and development. i strive to create a strong, healthy bond with every student and to help foster their creativity and their compassion for others.
