Meany Hall for the Performing Arts

Comfortable, mid-sized performance space. Great sound. Good view from almost every seat.

Always a pleasure. We get tickets for the world music series and love the whole experience everytime we go. The campus is beautiful, Meany Hall is filled with incredible art by world famous and local artists.

Excellent place for music, terrible place for humans. Seats are worse than your worst nightmare airplane ride. How am I supposed to enjoy the music when I’m in pain the whole time? Pretty interesting displays of local artists. But overall it’s a rather expensive night out, and a very uncomfortable one. Now I see why they call it Meany.

This is the primary performance hall for the University of Washington and I have seen many performances here over the years. It's about a 1200 seat capacity venue and set up in such a way that there really is not a poor seat in the house. It's probably the easiest in and out access of any live theater in town and the house manager and staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful.
