Mediterranean Bakery & Cafe

Great little Mediterranean bakery located in the West End Village shopping center. I love their fresh pita, baked goods, and prepackaged, refrigerated foods. The cashier also wiped down the checkout conveyor belt between orders. Happy to have this West End neighborhood gem!

Very convenient and cute place with such a tasteful baklava! Not even mentioned humus which tasted so real and delicious! Also, the staff is very nice and friendly. We discovered this store just recently and we already know it wasn’t our last time there!

Good place to Coen browse and pick up cakes, seasoning, bread, etc. The Café has good food and made to order.

Great bakery and it has a lot of good products and the prices are reasonable.

Love this place. We get our labne, baba ganoush, and other treats here but it offers much more.

This place is my favorite spot! Their hommos is the best. Arrive early to get their fresh baked pita bread. If you’re wondering if you should come, just come.

They have a breadth of options with a lot of diverse and foreign foodstuffs! I got the hummus and Baklava from there and it is arguably some of the best tasting baklava I have had in America. It is a great little store/bakery in the Alexandria area

This bakery has been a part of our family life for thirty years. Perhaps due to covid, it has lost a bit of its mediterranean flair. Bring back the old recipes and eastern music. There is nothing like the smell of Turkish coffee and hot cheese ruolls to make it an experience...not just a wonderful bakery visit.
