Mee Sen Thai Eatery is more than just a restaurant. It is a community of people wanting to build relationships with costumers and business owners, play an active role in the vicinity, and contribute to liveliness of our surroundings. There are two meanings for the phrase Mee Sen. The literal definition is “have noodle”, and the other meaning is to have connection/ good friends. As a restaurant, we aspire to incorporate the meanings of the words transparently with the community in this district.
A large amount of Thai food restaurants in the US focus their menus on stir-fry dishes and curry which is how our menu differs, because while also serving these courses, we aim to shine light on a traditional Thai dish− noodle soups. In doing so, we share the authenticity of native food accustomed in Thailand with the general public on Mississippi Avenue.
