Such a beautiful upscale Ethiopian restaurant that serves traditional Ethiopian food!! The Mela special is a must! This hidden gem of a restaurant is tucked away quietly in North Decatur, but definitely deserves more recognition.
I was encouraged to hit up this spot by a beloved Ethiopian. In my opinion while the food was good, it wasn't better than my usual go-to Ethiopian spot.
- I’m not from Atlanta, I’m Pennsylvania and some friends recommended going to Mela for dinner. This place was beautiful, staff was AMAZING, bathroom was clean and most importantly, food was DELICIOUS! My new go to in Atlanta! Thank you for the amazing experience!!
Delicious! I tried the Veg Combo and Sambusa last night and both were just what I was craving. So happy to have discovered such a good Ethiopian restaurant so close. Looking forward to exploring the menu. The spices, textures and ingredients all work together for a heartwarming, wholesome, and mouthwatering experience.
Excellent authentic Ethiopian cuisine with a wonderful vibe and beautiful decor. I will definitely be coming back. Additionally the service was fantastic and the staff and owners were extremely friendly
You haven't ate authentic Ethiopian Cuisine until you seat down and eat at Mela Ethiopian Restaurant. Place is spotless and the food is AMAZING!
First time eating at this amazing restaurant. Exceptional customer service!!!! Impressive Decour and the atmosphere is very nice and open. Food is very authentic and rich in flavors. I highly recommend it !!!!!
