Story

Reiki is an art and a science using universal life force energy to promote balance, wholeness, healing and consciousness. A safe and direct technique to effectively help yourself and others, Reiki is easy to learn and easy to practice -- all you need are your hands.

In a First Degree Reiki class, you will learn the history of Reiki and the twelve basic hand positions. We practice giving Reiki treatments to ourselves and others. Each student receives four attunements (initiations which increase energy level) and receives certification as a First Degree Reiki practitioner. This is a practical, grounded class; graduates are capable of practicing Reiki immediately.
