We just had our latest shoot with Melissa McClure Photography, and as usual, we are impressed!!! Melissa is so efficient in getting tons of awesome images when working with my crazy kiddos and our dogs! I'm always amazed at how she takes whatever surroundings we are in (we have had several shoots with her- home, backyard, parks, urban) and finds just the right spot and angles so fast. I think that knowledge comes with all her experience. Highly recommend!!!

She promised she would 'rock our wedding shoot'.  Instead we got out-of-focus images and lies. When we pointed out the flaws in her work, she said 'I'm sorry you're not happy with them, because I am". Then she tried to explain that the way the images looked was 'her style', but looking at her portfolio paints a different picture, as all of the images are in-focus and sharp. Furthermore, she admitted to my wife weeks before the wedding that she was having recent camera troubles. We thought she would have rectified this issues before flying to Colorado for our big day. Guess not. Then she tried to 'refund' us $250 IF we also signed a non-disclosure agreeement (NDA), which would have prevented us from sharing our absolutely unprofessional and disappointing experience with Melissa McClure Photography. Sorry, but my soul and my dignity are worth more than a few censorship peanuts. Beware of this bait and switch photographer.

Melissa is the best you can find in San Diego or anywhere nearby! We hired her to shoot our vow renewal in Las Vegas and were blown away by every aspect of working with her. She is very responsive, fast with getting the photos back to you, and her work is amazing! She is so talented! I mostly love that her photos have a timeless quality about them. They will look great for years to come! I am always amazed that our photos from our vow renewal are better than our original wedding photos, and the wedding photos of the majority of our friends. 

The most important thing to me about working with Melissa is how nice and fun she is! You're going to have to spend your entire wedding day hanging out with your photographer, it's important to get someone that is a joy to be around, and Melissa definitely contributed to the celebration. 

I also used Melissa to do my boudoir photos. Twice. They are absolutely incredible.

I used Melissa for a post-wedding photoshoot for my husband and I several years back so when the time came to hire a photographer to shoot maternity photos for us, I knew just who to call. Melissa is fantastic in any situation and so incredibly talented. The photos she took are some of my favorite photos of myself! She makes us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and expertly manipulates light and shadows for truly remarkable photographs. I just wish I'd found Melissa before I'd gotten married so she could have shot my wedding photos! Our photos with Melissa are so special to us and so beautiful. I highly recommend her! She's a rock star! If you're planning your wedding, stop what you're doing and hire her NOW!! I wish I had.

I've worked with Melissa at numerous weddings now and always does a great job! She's very friendly, easy to work with, and her pictures are very high quality. I highly recommend her!
