I came here for the first time today in desperate need of a hair cut. I booked it online that morning for 1:30 pm. First, the online booking was super easy. I arrived a few minutes early, and I was warmly greated, checked in and comfortably waiting for my barber/hair stylist. We chatted about what I wanted and he took me back for a shampoo amazing. Hot towels too. My stylist was professional, detailed, and a real arist in his craft. I purchased a product on my way out, my choice no hard selling going on, which was nice. Friendly, professional, and a comfortable space to be in. I will be back.
Spent $32 and never got a haircut. I’m visiting from out of town and needed a haircut badly. I chose this barbershop due to high reviews and used the online system, provided all my information and made an appointment. They emailed asking which open spot I would like and I responded with my choice. I then received a text asking me to opt in to receive notifications about my appointment. I then received an email confirming my appointment with Jake and 2pm. I took a Lyft to the appointment and was met by a very annoyed receptionist who told me I had been called to be notified of the appointment cancelation. I pulled up my call history, voicemails, emails and texts and didn’t have a single notification letting me know it had been cancelled. They were so thorough in getting my contact info and establishing communication it seems crazy that they wouldn’t try a little to let someone know their appointment had been cancelled. So I’m out a $16 ride to and a $16 ride from my appointment that never happened. The manager who spoke to me made it clear they could not pay for my Lyft and could “maybe” cut me a deal on my next appointment. Not helpful if I’m only here for the weekend and they only have one other open appointment…of which was not possible for me to attend due to a meeting. Even if I COULD have, I would have then had a $64 Lyft bill for a single haircut…of course assuming they wouldn’t cancel that one as well. I understand people get sick or hurt themselves but you really should be putting some effort into letting people know their appointments are cancelled. I was told the owner/manager would reach out to me to try and clear things up. I’ll update this if that happens… Update: I was called by one of the managers who explained what had happened. Apparently they tried calling me but they dialed the wrong number. Fair enough, perfect storm. So to make up for it, he said they would put a $34 credit onto my account for next time. Still sucks for me because I live out west and will probably not be back in the area for a very long time, if at all. But what can you do…I’ll add two stars for the follow up at least.
ALWAYS the BEST service! Trish and her team really know how to take care of their customers. It's time to get a hair cut!
I got a really great haircut here the other day. The person who cut my hair really took the time to listen to me, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I loved how they didn't seem rushed, and took the time to provide all around great service. I was impressed. I don't want to be incorrect, but I wan't to give credit. I believe the name of the barber was Kylise, or Kylie...It started with a K. Best, ty!Service: Haircut
I ordered some items online from this shop. They were terrific!!! The items arrived very quickly, were just what I wanted and they were packaged very well. There was a miscommunication about my address and Zig was so very prompt about getting in touch with me and straightened it out immediately!! Will certainly do business with you all again!!!! Thanks for being on top of customer service!!!
I had a really nice experience here today. I moved to Milwaukee a week ago and have been enjoying the city lately. I was just driving around today and my hair was just , driving, me insane. So i just parked and looked up haircut places and I just found this. I felt very listened to, and both my barber/owner trish and the receptionist were excellent. If you can ask for Trish because she cut my hair and she is amazing. I wasnt 100% sure what i wanted walking in. I just voiced that my hair was bothering me and what I felt may look good. She walked me through what may worked and I walked out satisfied. It was a nice way to end my first week in Milwaukee.
I've been getting my haircut here for 10 years and it always turns out fantastic. My only criticism is that occasionally I will go in and my barber will have a cold, which is obviously contagious. You should encourage to your staff to take time off and recover if they're ill, or at the very least give your customers a heads up in advance so they can make the decision whether to see someone who may be contagious or to rebook for another time. Also, I make it a point to arrive on time, but most of my appointments start 10-15 minutes late. That's less of an issue for me though as I know appointments can run long and people need a minute to breathe.
I love this place. I requested a literal last minute appointment and they got me in quickly. They were super friendly and attentive. The place is very clean and I received one of the best haircuts I've ever had and I have been to many a barbershops around town. 110% worth it.
After recently moving back to Milwaukee from Denver, I was in a world of hurt trying to find a barber/stylist to help me once again find a phenomenal haircut. That search came to a glorious end once I discovered Trish at The Men’s Room in Shorewood, WI. The woman is an artist and knows exactly what to do with any type of hair she happens to be working with. Truly an amazing woman with a God given talent. I urge anyone who strives to look their best to make an appointment immediately with Trish. You 100% will thank yourself for doing so.
My new stylist did a fantastic job listening and making sure I was getting a cut that I would be happy with. She is a true professional. I got sick of $15 haircuts. All they want to do is start shearing you like a sheep with those electric trimmers. It's an assembly line. Get em in get em out. Doesn't work for me. My experience at the men's room yesterday was the opposite of that. Bravo.
