Had to make 4 trips to get the right stuff for a tux for a wedding. An hour and a half drive. And they didn’t feel as if they needed to discount or do anything to make it right. Find somewhere that has some customer service for people who can’t do there jobs.
Screwed up the vest order. Manager had put in wrong notes. Since they only get the tuxes in a few days before a wedding, I have to wait and push the timeline to get the proper colors. 48 hours to grab the right color and my store runs during those hours except for 1 hour out of the 48...bride is not happy. Totally their fault.
So me being a tall guy 6’7 I have difficulty finding clothes to wear. I have plenty of dress shirts that fit great that I wear for formal occasions and was debating on building my own tux that I would own for my wedding. Unfortunately I decided to rent from MW. Knowing that that take your measurements and tailor the fit I was thinking everything would fit great. Well, it did but the two complaints I have are that the dress shirt collar was massive...there was about a 1 inch gap of space around my neck. It really is an eye sore in our wedding photos. Unfortunately I didn’t own a white button down so I couldn’t switch it out. Also the shoes were so terribly uncomfortable but I wore my own anyways. Everything else fit well, just not happy with the dress shirt collar.
For my previous wedding we rented all the groomsmens tuxes from Men’s Warehouse. The shoes were very poor quality. Two of the men’s soles came apart after only having them on for 3 hours. When returning the tuxes we brought it up and were told that this happens often. So why not fix the situation?! The men had to wear other shoes. The tuxes were great quality and everything came in on time.
We paid over $1100 to rent 7 tuxes for our wedding. The best man had to iron his own pants due to being full of wrinkles. My dad had a hole in the leg of his pants. The groom's pants was to big width and length. Then the best man's sole came off his shoe. Took the tuxes back and complained to the manager, who down played the whole thing saying it was not a big deal, well it was a big deal to me as the bride. They did give us money back, but only $50. This place is horrible I will never rent from them again.
My fiance ordered his suit for our wedding from here. We went to our local store in northern Indiana and what was ordered did not fit. They ordered the wrong size vest and he had to go pick it up the day of our wedding. They didnt have him try anything on while there either except some shirts.
Nice staff and good selection of tuxes. They can get you anything that other men's wearhouse locations have, but only keep the tuxes in stock. If you are setting up for a formal wedding, ball, prom or anything of the sort then they will be able to help you out.
We are having a bad experience. Staff acts as if we are burdens. Prom is in 2 days and the tux just came in. We have to alter our schedules with work and school with no notice in order to rush up there and make sure the tux fits because they will only have one day to fix it if it dont fit. I just hope that it all works out but the staff is not taking any of our concerns. I would not recommend anyone paying as much money as I just did to get the service we are receiving.
Maria was super helpful in assisting my husband with finding a suit. Big guys often have a difficult time getting a suit to fit and be comfortable and fit well. She was very nice to work with today.
Ok. The location at the Paddock Shops in Louisville was bigger, better, and more comfortable with my wife being fitted for a tux. We only went here because I got my dress at the David's Bridal next door
