When we came to the store there were at least 7 workers, and none of the employees greeted us or asked for help. Eventually I asked helped from a female worker and she seemed very annoyed to help and spoke only few words when asked any questions. She made it feel like we were not going to buy anything. When we did purchase a whole suit she didn’t even give us a coat bag or anything, when we asked her she just put a wrapper. There was no thank you or have a nice day, she made it seem like she wanted us out the store.
UNRELIABLE! Groom and father of bride almost left without suits for a wedding. Custom suits ordered for groom and father of bride 7/26, informed they’d arrive to this location within 3 weeks. 4 weeks later, they called concerned asking for an update. Store responded suits “should” arrive prior to them flying out 8/31 for destination wedding. Groom called 8/25 demanded definite date of pick up, store manager reportedly rushed the warehouse and shipping by 8/30. Father of bride called 8/26 and manager said he “could not provide definite date of pick up” he “wished he had more information”. Father of bride called corporate office 8/26, corporate expressed they did not understand why the custom order was processed, there was a 5-week delay on custom orders, warehouse could not be rushed and promised a refund. Groom and father of bride rushed to buy tailored suits 8/26 from a boutique after speaking to corporate. Store called both 8/29 apologetic, promising they’d have suits 8/30, after the two had already purchased tailored suits for the wedding. Insisted groom and father of bride should try the custom suits prior to requesting a refund, the two demanded a refund and wore separately purchased suits.
I had a great shopping experience with a man I believe said his name was "Nat" but it's possible I misheard him and he meant "Matt." He was a tall, black gentleman with glasses and I'm sorry I didn't ask him for his name again as he was super helpful. He got me everything I needed and I had my suit fitted and ready to in a couple days. If you stop by, go see him!
Horrible experience. We have a wedding that my husband & son on Saturday. We went a month ahead of time to have their measurements taken. We spent almost $600 on two rentals one was for a 4 year old. Well we went today to pick up the rentals and my husbands was so small it only reached the sides of his belly. He is the same height n actually a few pounds lighter than when he was measured. It barely looked ironed. The shirt was too small and big at the same time. The material of the tuxes were beyond cheap looking. My son’s tux pants was short which they did fix on the spot but the top. Omg the shirt. I have words on the shape of it. What horrible horrible pieces. And we need for Saturday so we had to other choice. But we also have to wait till Saturday morning for the replacement jacket. They discounted very little for the error. Honestly the worst experience we ever had. Next time I’m sticking to buying bc I found better at Macys to own on what I paid to rent!! I wish I could give -stars bc one star is too much!!
I have bought a Calvin Klein suit USD400 and around USD30 for the tailor. First time a wore it two holes in my pants in the right leg. Ok it might be a mistake. And now 1 week after I am negociating with my customer and I see an other hole in the left leg... the service was not good but the quality and the tailor is worse than bad ... seriously... a shame
I needed a suit for a wedding about 2 weeks away. MW's Chelsea store appeared to have about half a dozen in my size per their website. However, when I arrived at the store I found out I needed a size larger than I thought. The salesman was super nice and helpful without being pushy at all, and we found a suit separates jacket and pants I Iiked a lot. But, the jacket in the color I wanted was not in stock in my size at the store, so I bought the pants and ordered the jacket with rush shipping to my home. It arrived today, exactly 3 business days later as promised. I'm writing this review because I think that in these days of broken supply chains, inflation & shortages, quiet quitting and generalized anger with almost everything MW deserves kudos for a transaction that was about as close to perfect as it gets. Thanks, folks, for a great shopping experience, and a discount coupon for my next purchase too!
I was there to get a suit for my graduation. The employee name Atif was very professional and helpful. Helped me picked a beautiful complete suit with perfect fitting.
Could not get help to get fitted while staff hung around and talked with each other, despite me being on the waiting list. When tux finally came it was not the size I ordered and they almost didn't have the jacket in time for the wedding. Tried to charge me extra despite all this after it was already over priced for a rental.
The staff looks to help and come to your aid but they do not have good tailors. I had to revisit 3 different times for them to tailor my suit properly and it never got done right. I just ended up getting a refund. This is my second bad experience at Men’s Wearhouse. I will not be spending any more money there.
Last month when I went to purchase a suit the sales person kept trying to style me to his liking. It was cool I knew what I wanted and that is not the reason for the one star. By the way the Tailor was great and hooked up my suit. Now when I went to pick up my suit...the guy at the desk wouldn't even look at me when I mentioned I was here to pick up. A lady comes to and ask me if it was a rental. I hand her the ticket and say no, it is a purchase. Without looking at the paper she asked if I was sure, as if I could not possibly be buying a suit. She goes to the back and another worker comes to me ask "rental?" It began to feel like a black man can't buy a suit. The lady comes out the back hand me my suit on a hanger and just walked away.... no cover, no nice Men's Wearhouse suit cover, nothing. I ask "this is it" she took the suit and walked away and put a plastic cover over it, tie a knot at the bottom and hand it back with no words, as if I just made her day harder. I was so mad. As I walked out I saw a few customers on line so as I sat in my car and waited to see how they walked out. I wasn't surprised I saw them walk out with Men's wearhouse zipper bags. Guess it was only for certain people.
