I got in an accident and they wouldn't tow my car and now 2 weeks later my car is still sitting in some tow yard waiting to be inspected. They are terrible. Don't get mercury insurance
I was in a car accident. I got rear ended. The person tried to do a hit and run but my husband went after them they eventually stopped and we called police. I’m shocked nobody cared that he tried to flee. I have video to prove it. Anyways the officer assured us the car had insurance and would pay for my damages. Mercury was the carrier. Turns out the driver wasn’t on the policy but how is that my fault his parents are letting him drive a car he isn’t suppose to be. They took two weeks just to deny the claim. The 19 year old gets always with no consequences for his actions and my insurance is left to pay for somebody else’s mistake. I get he isn’t on the policy but his parents pay it and they clearly let him borrow it so they should be responsible for there child. Let alone the fact they delayed my car being fixed by taking so long to just say no. Now I know who not to get as an insurance carrier and will let everybody know

I had submitted my claim and it's been a week I haven't received any notifications or updates from the adjuster. Whenever I call the adjuster, the call goes on voicemail. This is really crazy customer service.

I been an agent for this company since 2011. Always talked them up, well my first claims experience with them is alive and active. This is by far the worst, I will never sell a mercury policy. I urge all others to find a different company. The claims experience is not worth it. They’re not even the cheapest they’re fairly priced so I’m sure you can find a company with a better claims experience. Cory from customer relations has been doing his best but ultimately it’s the company that he works for that is the problem. Again this is not to bad mouth anyone in particular it is the company itself with their dumb policies that makes people’s lives difficult.
If i could give them 0 stars i would. I have been a member of Mercury for a long time. I get into a car accident and i literally have to chase this people around for a call back. Thanks to Ashley and Jacqueline i will cancel my Mercury insurance and go to someone else. Can't wait for this nightmare to end already. I already called Jacqueline twice today and left her a voicemail and still no call back.
They don't mention on their website that this office is not open to the public. Do t waste your time. 2 stars for not mentioning
If I could give less than 1 star I would. This insurance company is as dirty as a cell phone contract supplier. Do not ever purchase any insurance policy from Mercury as they hide all kinds of hidden fees and early cancellation fines into your policy. I have learned my lesson about Mercury the hard way, and hopefully this review will help others to steer clear of them. Again, DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A POLICY FROM MERCURY!
Well I wasn't sure until just recently when my car caught on fire but yes Mercury took care of me and I didn't have to do nothing but sign and get a check
