Mercury Solar

Mercury Solar designed our solar system in 2012 with 13 Panels. In 2019 we added 6 more panels along with a battery storage system which was an off-grid installation. The cost of our installed systems were 30%- 50% lower than the estimates received from other solar companies. We found that Mercury's installations were without any major problems. Costs for electricity dropped from nearly $250 a month to under $14. Scott, the owner and designer of the solar systems, is truly a genius. He's an electrician, plumber and a talented businessman. Mercury Solar has also been responsive in answering our questions. The secretary Sue is first rate and very concerned about her customers. We’ve had few problems with the systems. The company has been in business since 1979 and has installed thousands of solar systems. We have looked at other customers' reviews. It is thoughtful to mention that the reviews are not checked for accuracy. Competitors can write anything they want about Mercury Solar. There is no way to remove inaccurate or false reviews. I recommend that one gets 2 or 3 references from Mercury and then call their customers to get an accurate assessment of their installations. Talking to the owner of Mercury Solar would be useful also. He will discuss the payback period using rebates from the state and the US governments and the reduction in utility costs. He also can cover financing if one needs that. Scott is very clever, and you would find him very clear when discussing various systems that are available such as solar panels, hot water heating panels, and a battery system with an off-grid profile.

Dedicated. Great company. Really enjoyed working with them from installation, sales, through management. How can you not love getting a tax credit from the State of Hawaii and the Department of the Treasury. O.K. too technical. I'm an accountant.

Payed them, they installed it, well almost, it's been a year and a half and I'm still waiting for my digital read out gadget replacing the old bubble glass meter. Reported it already to the BBB and still waiting for the gadget. And two weeks ago I gave them a call and they told me I'll be put to the top of the list and still no gadget. If you don't mind waiting close to two years or more than by all means buy this product if you like getting ripped off. Looks like I'll have to get in touch with the BBB again.
