Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Northwest Family

I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. My primary care physician is Dr. Jonathan Knox. Great doctor!! He has a very good bedside manner and is very thorough. I am especially impressed with Barbara Moore, who is the Nurse Practitioner. She found an issue with my spine that was overlooked by my orthopedist for quite some time. Barbara listens to every single thing you tell her, which I think is a HUGE asset in the medical field nowadays. She is very very thorough. I’ve even been specifically requesting her when I call for appointments. The receptionists are very friendly as well. I never have to sit in the waiting room long at all. I am super happy and impressed with this facility. They’ve been a blessing in my life!! Thank you immensely.

I love my doctor and the staff there. However they are so busy and way overbook. I can never see my doctor unless I schedule a week out, though normally I can see an NP same day or next day if I need to. I always wait for at least thirty minutes paste my appointment time in the waiting room and then wait forever again once I am in the office. However once you have a doctor or office staff member they take great care of you and provide excellent service.

Run....Run..... Run away..... After waiting 1hour and 45 min. in a waiting room filled with hacking, coughing, sniffing people, I got up to leave and was told I was next. I asked how long it would still be and the receptionist said the doc was in "the middle" of a procedure, so another 45 minutes or so. Really? Is this good medicine. And this is the second time this has happened to me at this terribly run facility. If they are going to take "emergency cases" instead of sending them across the street to ER, they should have more docs available.

Absolute rude staff. My first visit they charged me for a physical which is free under my insurance plan and I waited 30+ minutes to be seen. My second visit I was 14 minutes late and the rude receptionist made a huge deal about it and told me they will get to me when they can. Every time you call there is at least a 10 minute hold time. Would not recommend this office to anyone based solely on rude staff. I know a lot of people who go here and say they are very knowledgeable. Which they may be but at the end of the day I'm a customer and don't like to be treated badly by staff.
